The grind is real but for starters, you can do what I did: goat sacrifice. Praying to the mods with offerings also help. Or so I hear.

Praying is disabled for now. Might be back in the next patch.

Oh shoot! Guess we're back to bribing then! So glad I passed level 7 before the new rules came into play!

Yeah, that still works but there is a chance of a blue screen.

That's how we get a new cg every few years when the old one is used up!

First rob a bank... (Not recommended)

Then launder this money... (Also not recommended)

Move to Europe.

Next go to https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaways/wishlist

Make giveaways from those games. Send Steam Gift to winner.

No profit...

Bundles(Not Humble Bundle) are also fine option...

Bugs/Suggestions: Give new users one free level (or one cent CV) if they read and sign the FAQ and Guidelines.

Maybe start them from level -1 instead and then allow them to get to level 0.

I like the idea of 'limited account' until new user read FAQ & Guidelines and answer some questions from those fields - and if fail give them '24h' to try again so no chance to brute force.

I disagree, we don't want to gate people from site features.

The idea should be to grow the community, not push them away. In that regard, we should also be more accepting/encouraging of new users asking questions on the forums. Too many treat this site like some sort of "exclusive club" already, and I feel that's one of the biggest issues that needs addressing. How we treat/address new users is everything. (This isn't directed at you, by the way. I'm just rambling on.)

I get your point, but it will be like 5 minutes to read and complete it but we will reduce post like "How do I level up", "Why I can't win" or many tickets where people level 0 create giveaways for RDR2 or other high value game without even intention of sending to winner.
Low cost but high value added to community. At the cg decides not us 😊

Perhaps I'm in the minority, but those types of threads have never bothered me. They're harmless and eventually drop off the front page, and I can either answer them or ignore them easily enough. I don't bother with fake giveaways, either. Points are free and they get a Not Received if they don't deliver. They do it a couple times, no more giveaways. No need for a ticket, in my opinion.

Just my two cents, of course. shrug

And then people would think it's not a "minus" but a "hyphen" and we'll have more threads about "BUT I HAD 1 LEVEL"

Damn, that's a good idea and that might reduce the level of threads for actually relevant stuff like people bitching about protests and Epic vs. Steam battle threads...
