SG Dark Grey Userstyle

A darker version of steamgifts, steamtrades, and sgtools primarily designed for daytime use where as SGv2 Dark is designed for nighttime use . Works on www.steamgifts.com, www.steamtrades.com, www.sgtools.info . Compatible with most scripts found in the addon registry.

Note: Style is now hosted on github as userstyles.org is no longer supported.

Install Stylus for either Firefox, Chrome or Opera and then install the style using one of these methods:

📦 Install the usercss which supports automatic updates and customization.
📦 Install manually from GitHub with no customization. The style is in Mozilla format.
📦 Install script which supports automatic updates but no customization.

Last updated January 12 2024 version 2.4.0
Note: please report any bugs or if you have any suggestions.

hello, i recently started using this theme via ESGST
i really like it so far, but i also encountered a few things here and there tthat might be improved?

  • Ive noticed the bookmark icon to the right in discussions is barely indistinguishable between enabled and not enabled. it is very hard to see any difference at all.
  • i feel like the enter and leave buttons dont differ enough. i have enabled the buttons to be accessible through the main page and the like (so i dont need to go onto the individual GA page) and having them under each other i find it somewhat difficult to see the difference (in some pages the fading doesnt work). so i was wondering if there could be done something about it... maybe the leave button could be a bit more yellow or even a bit orange?
    i also suggested on ESGST to be able to customize those, dont know if itll get implemented though and when.

The style that ESGST is accessing is from before steamgifts even had bookmarks so the background color is not applied in that version.

You can add the following css to ESGST custom theme setting to correct the bookmark button and change the leave giveaway button to orange. Use a color picker to pick different rgb values if you need to.

oh... i thought the moment you update your theme, it'll also update on ESGST...
how does it work then?

.... i have no clue whatsoever about coding/programming and the like...
so.... should i just copy that Text and paste it into "custom theme setting"?

i just notice that the leave button is not orange on the individual GA page.
i thought it did before... but maybe my memory is playing a trick on me.

do i need a separate code for that? or is there something wrong?

Sorry for bringing more work to you. :P The esgst-button-set class was changed to esgst-button-container in the latest version, but it's not available everywhere (now some buttons have a container and others don't - depends where they are added). But the buttons themselves have a new class esgst-button, which should make it easier to target them.

It's working perfectly fine here, Firefox 93, Stylus and ESGST. if you are using the usercss check if the colors didn't get changed on the configuration for some reason.

Hello!

First, a huge thank you for the beautiful theme!

For the past 2-3 days I am seeing some white line on the giveaways lists, which wasn't there before.

This is between giveaways 12 and 13, then again 24-25 and so on - every 12 GAs.

I am experiencing this on different computers with different display sizes and resolutions.
I don't think it's a Chrome update because one of the PCs is still running W7 and Chrome won't update on it.

Any ideas?

SPECS 1: 4K, 200% Windows 11 scaling, 125% Chrome scaling
