I think I am going to probably skip this, since the only two games that are interesting to me are Police II and Raiden V, I already own hitman 2 gold and none of the others interest me.
But that mystery game has be intrigued so maybe I will just buy it and then maybe I can always find uses for the other games.

2 days ago it showed up on main page for me, yesterday it vanished and on subscription page it never showed. i doubt its a region issue husbands computer is right next to mine and he has the gift game thing showing. only difference between mine and his is that mine atm is a gifted sub while he pays for his yearly and were both on classic plan :)

In that case, you only get the message if you're paying for the subscription. I would have thought HB would add it to everybody's page to encourage more subscribers. HB do have a special way of doing things!

Wrong, I'm paying for month-to-month subscription (classic plan) myself, and I've never seen the offer of mystery game, not on the main page, not on the subscription section, so I guess not everyone will get the mystery game... I think OwieczkaDollyv21 is right, and some regions won't be getting a bonus mystery game, I've already seen it in the past with at least two monthly bundles that had 1 game less because of the region I live in! More freakin' reason to skip this month...

It's a good bundle but seems niche when reading comments here. I don't think anyone has mentioned that Driftland The Magic Revival is a decent Majesty 2-like that I've been waiting for a sale or bundle and here it is. TWO Zach games! Opus Magnum was an amazing fun puzzler so I'm looking forward to Molek. Ofc, Gris - that I'm not interested in -, This is the Police 2 and Bard's Tale IV are also well-known names. Personally I already have Hitman 2 Gold but I still got it and split for the other games.
tl;dr - It's a good bundle but as usual not for everyone's taste.

Driftland is ... I mean I don't even like Majesty 2? Or I didn't when it came out.
Wasn't super pleased by Driftland but I'm very open to hearing your take.
It's really hard to find a good indirect control strategy game.
Or even indirect control city buildery games that don't have super stupid citizen AI.

Although it's "indirect control" like Majesty 2, no unit will ever say "I'm not travelling 50km just for 10 gold" so it might as well be a queue system. The upside is there are no citizens outside of combat units which simplify things so you don't have to worry about stupid AI.
I played through the first campaign of four and it was average, normal difficulty was fairly easy. The tooltip on harder difficulty seems to mirror Civilization/Stellaris games difficulty where enemies would get more resources at a faster rate instead of being smarter. Campaign is great in that it gives you different victory conditions and you're forced to expand differently - focus on different resources or build an army to rush the enemy castle - so you don't fall into the rhythm of winning the same way. There is a MP mode which I cannot comment on, as well as a skirmish set your own rules mode for single player game.
There is diplomacy but it has not been very important thus far in the first campaign, probably more for skirmish single games.
It plays out similar to Northgard or Civ games I'd say. Driftland doesn't have a "wow" factor but it's solid city building with some magic spells thrown in during combat. I'd recommend it to city building lovers, might be a bit bland if you aren't.
Overall I'm having fun in Campaign :)

I'm annoyed at the fact that two games from last month have been put into Trove. I don't feel like I wasted a claim because I didn't want any of the other ones, but it still cheapens it.

standard edition have 7 locations. There is a free hitman 2 which gives 1 location free to everyone. There was a sliver edition which gives standard edition and first expansion (1 new location), it seems to be removed. But the option is for those who bought silver edition before. Then there is gold edition which contains standard edition and both expansion.

even after all this mess, and owning everything, you may find DLC that does not appear as owned. For example, I own Vanilla, Season pass, and the GOTY 2016 content that redeemed automatically, and the silver to gold package and the GOTY upgrade do not show as owned, but I own the content. Those packages are there just for upgrades.
collectors may find going the 2016 route better, to get a +1 in the library, and also because some believe 2016 is better in the old engine/prefer to play with the old bugs

PS: I already had HITMAN GOTY edition and I was missing Patient Zero to get the full HITMAN 2016 experience. I bought it through HITMAN 2 GOTY Legacy Pack Upgrade as you advised but I would like to know out of curiosity if I'll be able to play Patient Zero on the HITMAN 2016 engine or just in HITMAN 2 engine?

The legacy upgrade is only for Hitman 2, I am afraid, but check this out:
As far as the current steam listing goes, 2016 GOTY does include Patient Zero: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/4854/HITMAN__Game_of_The_Year_Edition/
So if you don't have it listed, you may not have 2016 GOTY to begin with.
You can refund the hitman 2 legacy upgrade, buy what you are missing from the 2016 GOTY package, and then launch hitman 2 to get everything redeemed there, if you really need that content on both games.
I am not sure what is cheaper. It depends in what you are missing from that link.

You're right, I thought I had HITMAN GOTY but in fact I just have vanilla HITMAN. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't mind just being able to play PZ on HITMAN 2 and in fact it's actually cheaper to pay for the GOTY Upgrade for HITMAN 2 (which ended up being 1,99 €) than buying the rest of the HITMAN 2016 GOTY Bundle (that includes PZ and it costs 3,66 € to upgrade). I didn't get it from this site actually, plus it wasn't a key that they send me. It was a HB gift link.
If you ask me they should provide me a new key. At least that is what makes sense to me. Looks like i will try and see.
