Playstation VR

Going to be buying a Playstation at some point soon, but there's only thing I'd like to know before.
Do I need a good TV at all to run it? My TV is from the early 2000's I think.

you just need HDMI, nothing more ;-)
Or at least you need to plug HDMI somewhere, to send screen and sound

To run VR, no...
Your question seems unrelated to the title.

If you mean to run the PS4, just make sure you can plug it in and it can display a high enough resolution to make sense.

I mean the answer is ... you can pretty much use any TV to connect the PS to to be fair ...

It may require some form of adapters , bit it will connect to anything :)
