I tried Linux once, long time ago, was too much hassle to be honest. And now I have no need to try it again, though I might out of curiosity once I get a new pc with bigger hdd for dual boot.

Linux is good for your health.

Give it another shot, it's not a monster that's only for nerds. :P

Actually it is. Not that much as years before but it still is. I use Linux only with Backtrack on my Laptop. Home, i go with Windows and i'm fine. I think Valve will make Linux more public for Gamers with their SteamOS, wich is becoming really great i think. It's getting all in all user friendlier and user friendlier. Thank you for the giveaway.

I only use Linux and I have 2 Steam version installed. I play Linux games on native Linux version of Steam, but I also have the Windows version via WINE. This way I am able to play both my Linux and Windows games only on Linux.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I have used steam on Linux since it came out, first on Ubuntu, now on Arch. It works fine, I only had problems in the beginning when some of the games listed as Linux games had missing install scripts or were empty downloads (fun times).

I use Lubuntu on my ASUS EEE 1015 HD netbook when I need to work with text editors a lot because I hate how slow Windows 7 Starter works there. The problem is, I can't install Steam there.

I have it installed on my laptop, got no problem at all after using Primusrun/optimusrun through bumblebee daemon in order to use my nVidia GPU instead of integrated card. Games run pretty much like on Windows.
