if you didnt reveice a gift and accidentally hit "received", that's bad, but your mistake lasts only for 7 days. after that you can mark it as "not received".

oh wow, you can deselect. i never noticed that. xD

well, kinda your own fault for marking unreceived game ;) and "user is suspended" is a valid reason for a reroll. Gifter does not know if you will be unsuspended in 1hour or 1 month. Plus ha may not have enough free time to check your profile over and over, he created GA to end on today and tommorow is leaving for vacation for example.

True, but you could also make excuses why he shouldn't do it after one day. All in all, I made a mistake, but the punishment is severe as hell. Was just venting.
Also, he hasn't even given the gift to the other person yet. So there goes that vacation argument. And like I said, it still hasn't been 7 days for when he was suppose to gift to me. I'm not in his head, but I am sure it went like this: "Oh, this guy got suspended? He's a bad guy and I don't want to give it to bad people. Suspension is a valid reason to reroll and I will now."

Actually, if one of my giveaway ends and I see that the winner already won the game from Steamgifts and marked it as received, I will ask a reroll in the minutes that follow the end of the giveaway. Whether the person is suspended or not will not make any difference.
I will probably also report the winner for not activating it's previous win if he's not already suspended.

I understand that you got really severly punished, but also look on the other side of the coin. You got suspended by your own mistake, not for breaking rules, but false-possitive suspensions are really rare. So if I can reroll a GA i paid for with my hard earned money from a person that seems most likely to be breaking site rules, hence not respecting neither me nor the community, sure as hell I will. Like I mentioned, it was not your case, you just got very unlucky, but in 99% of cases it will be the case. And a gifter will want their game to go to a honest person who doesn't break rules.

In that case, there's no point in a reroll either, because they usually don't take under a day...

This already went to support and there is nothing to do about the matter but I am just making a suggestion to those who reroll as soon as they see a suspension. I won 2 gits in succession, probably a few days apart (lucky me). The first gifter never gave me the gift but I accidentally selected "yes" he did and never checked my profile to see that I selected it. The second gifter had an entire day to give the gift but never did. That is fine, he has an entire week or something. Anyways, I get suspended for not activating the first gift, which I never got. I explained myself and got the suspension lifted in ONE day. However, the second gifter already rerolled and gave it to someone else. So not only did I get suspended for not activating a game I never got, I also lost another due to a fast reroll (We didn't even reach day 7).
TLDR:
