...with my gaming habits. Before entering the realm of PC 2-3 years ago Derpy me was a console player (mostly on PS2 and 360) so it's fair to say that using a controller was a usual thing for me. However, since I bought a 360 controller for gaming on PC I have been completely relying on it. Now, I dread the idea of having my hands on the WASD or the mouse and I cannot even play RTS games any more. Moreover, I think I'm wasting $60 on simcity 'cuz I also stopped playing it due to the fact that I could not play it with a gamepad. Every game I own on steam that is not controller supported now has the possibility of never being touched by me.

Do you think it's a problem or is it just a normal thing to any gamer? Is there any hidden harmful effects from such habit?

That sounds serious. You might want to try using the peripherals you're no longer accustomed to. That way, your skill with them will improve. It's just a hunch. I mean, you did click your way to this website and wrote that text, right ? Good luck to you !

Also train your monkeys to slap you everytime you grab your controller. This way you will stop using it =) .

Weird. I have tried a controller and I think it feels absolutely horrible, I could never imagine playing without keyboard and mouse:s Which is the only damn reason I don't think I'll ever get a console.

+1 for "I have tried a controller and I think it feels absolutely horrible, I could never imagine playing without keyboard and mouse", at lest for most games (especially FPS), but I could live with it when it's used for racing games of PES/FIFA (but since I don't play these game that often any more it doesn't really matter)

No it ain't normal. This just means you no longer are a pc gamer. Just stick to consoles.
I switch between controller and k/m, just depends on the game I want to play. I have to adjust a little, especially with the controller, but after a few minutes it feels right
Keyboard/mice/controllers are just the tools for the games we like to play. Maybe you're just fed up with the rts gametype?

It just hit me that I also may suffer from some gaming side effects. Like those italic letters that certainly mean something. but idk what. And. It's. Bugging. The. Frell. Out. Of. Me.

Controllers are only good for racing, hack 'n slash and fighting games. I don't get it how people can play FPS's with a freaking stick.
