What is wrong with a used computer? So long as all the parts function properly there is no issue. Your issue is more likely software related than hardware related. Just wipe the drives and put on a fresh OS... nothing to see here.

Check hdd usage with some tools, maybe you have to change it. Then do fresh install.

Better than my previous experience of my phone Nokia X.
The shopkeeper tell me it can use Android. But It cannot download apps from Google Play...
So, I only use it to read comics =.=

Why someone is buying overpriced Macbook, when you could buy twice better computer in same price is a mystery to me...

You NEVER buy a laptop for gaming unless you know exactly what you're buying. Next time use this TechARP article to compare Laptop GPUs.

I love linux and all, but;
Setting up a new linux pc: Spend hours choosing which distro to install. Google how to set up partitions in install. If dual booting, shrink windows partition, reload windows and run diskchk, go back to install and setup swap partion and seperate partition for home folder, make sure not to change location of windows partition and MBR. Google to find out why GRUB loader isn't working properly. Spend another 20 minutes trying to find out why wifi drivers aren't working. Another 30 to fix your gpu drivers.
Granted there are some easier distros like Ubuntu and Mint that are a little less complex...

Better Advice: if you buy something used first thing is to do do a factory reset of everything (in this case, MacOS) and test only after that.
My 2011 MBP is still fast and smooth as it was back in the day (actually it's faster since it rocks an SSD now).

Next time, check your local recycling center out first. I've picked up 6 laptops so far for free that simply needed to have an OS reloaded.

Using all 6 for /r/beermoney
Perk, EarnHoney, Swagbucks, etc.
7, forgot the Chromebook.
And that doesn't include the XBOX 360 I found there, or the PS3.

Do a fresh install of the OS. Check the BIOS for settings etc.
Nothing fundamentally wrong with that hardware.
Edit: Could be the HDD is dieing, install a new one or SSD.

You're assuming everybody can afford a brand new PC or Laptop.

The first thing I do when getting a used computer - Restore the entire thing to factory default. Reformat/re-install the OS if necessary.
Other than that, a used computer is totally more worth it than new, if you get a decent deal and know what you're buying.

You can get away with a used computer if the parts are solid, relatively new (i.e. they're not a decade or half a decade old yet), you're on a budget, you know the owner, you get it on a clean install and you know how to troubleshoot and fix simple computer issues.
If none of the above apply, buy a new one, but for the love of tits don't buy prebuilt.

Anyone who knows the slightest thing about a PC's wouldn't get a MacBook and would know what they are getting when buying used computers. I've built plenty of computers from old parts over the years and with the acception of an ATi graphics card (I didn't want it but it came with the motherboard, cpu and memory I wanted, Nvidia fanboy yep I said it) never had any problems in 20 years of building PC's.
Clean the inside of the PC of dust etc then format it and get it running with the stuff you want on there if the problems still continue it's time to check the parts one by one until you find the problem.

don't buy computer
buy parts and assemble them on your own - you will get much better pc for the same money + without no-name power supply (which will burn some vital parts after 2 years of usage)
