Damn, quality of these games are extraordinary. Hope that Messenger will arrive in a monthly or some other bundle so I can have it for Steam too. Same thing for Celeste, my #1 wishlisted game.

Which is why I disabled it months ago after getting frustrated. When this kind of thing goes on because of an inadequate implementation it makes what is supposed to be a positive security feature fucking retarded because you end up getting locked out of your own account. Just goes to underscore the fact that Epic doesn't give a shit about the customer experience or improving the platform with features and proper functionality. All they care about is the contrived shoehorning in of exclusives and stealing games away from Steam.

You are right, with all the money they make they should be investing in more temporary bandwidth/infrastructure for the huge sales so they can handle the load. At least it's for a massive sale though and not just a single game giveaway. That and 2FA is supposed to help you, not hurt you.

You spoiled kids got nothing to complain about. I waited more than a day for Indiegala unlock code emails several times. Until I finally turned the "feature" off. Also considering the sluggish and bloated html-coding of their website, indiegala is easily the most incompetent company in the game-related internet.

While I do find annoying having to wait 3 or 4 minutes for something that should come within less than a minute in order to properly work it's not exactly a deal breaker for me as long as it usually works as intended, and it works as intended most of the time.
I have yet to pay a single cent for something on the EGS so for now my expectations are relatively easy to meet, unlike with other services where I have paid actual money and I do expect to recieve a working service yet I still tolerate their f*ck ups, a.k.a. Steam.

Push it up even further :P It's hard for me to distinguish between Legends and Origins because it's been a while since I played them but they are both amazing games and even better in couch coop. not sure if they have online coop
I would rate them en par with Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2.

I'm like 98% positive I played both of them on Wii with my two best buddies. Not sure anymore though if they both support 3 players or if we took turns playing. I know the 2nd character beside Rayman is a big blue frog-thingy that can use it's tongue to catch enemies if I remember correctly.
And what I particularly liked about them in coop is that all players have full abilities (contrary to Super Mario Galaxy where player n°2 can just play as a Luma and help the main player) and there's even some mechanics that exist only in coop. (you can pick your buddies up and throw them to places you couldn't reach otherwise) or into the next lava pit / spike trap diabolical laughter

Thats what i don't get about it. If i open epic page logged out it works fine, as soon as i log in i get that message. And i can't access the page anymore.
The only thing i ever did was log in, grab the free games and close their page.

I did also everything, refresh site, start the Browser new and some other things and still, not working at all here. And no, nothing, i did nothing at all, i did the same like the time before with the other Games. I just skipped 2 or 3 Games, cause not interesting for me. :D

Its ok, im not crying here, if i cant get Rayman, not that important to me at all. Got already enough, Batman, Metro, Soma; Costume Quest, Layers of Fear, QUBE, Alan Wake.

IIRC, it worked fine for me until RUINER/Nuclear Throne and then that issue.
I thought since I'm using an outdated version of Chrome, maybe the site was modified and broke compatibility...
If you don't wish to use the Epic launcher, try with a browser on a mobile - this works in my case.

There is just a little Problem, im not using Epic Launcher, because i cant use it. Its not working here on my shit PC. My PC is very bad, slow and old. Sadly. ^^
And i also dont have a Mobile at all, since over 8 Years not, for me not important and just wasted Money. At least in my case. I hate that small things anyway. ;-)
I always used my browser and was working fine, till now. I dont know whats the issue, but its ok if i dont get Rayman at all, that Game is not that important to me at all. :D

It seems the site has some issues. In some cases it helps to temporarily skip to another part of the site using one of the tabs near the top, then hit 'back' on the browser to refresh the page you're stuck at.

once you click install, it launches uplay and obliges to link the account. then when you press play, it launches uplay and the game starts, and gets added to your uplay account. After that, you can pretty much just launch from uplay and forget about epic to begin with

And they claimed that they will offer free game(s) every week until at least the very last week of 2019. This announcement was when they changed their schedule, from free game(s) every two weeks to free game(s) every single week.
I assume that we'll get a short Advent calendar, but obviously I may be wrong. Might be repeats like Tuxerito says (what a shame if that's the case), or just a regular free game for the whole week and they hide it now for whatever reason.
Very curious about their plan for 2020. From what I know, they didn't say if they will or will not continue these giveaways.

With 56 games already in my library this is starting to look more like a library and less like a hack, especially since they added the library search feature that was missing for such a long time. It still has a long way to go but it's not a bad start. Adding the fact they gave away so many nice games only makes things better. Hopefully the client will further improve over time.
