Me and my points have a relationship similar to that of a dragon and his gold. I save them for the rainy days, and insidious schemes.

Enter for games I want.

Have 300 points by the end of every day.

Feel sad I own most of the games posted.

Enter for dirt3 several times. Realize its 50points a pop and I'm out of points.

Usually a couple days go by until I check back into the site. Any point accumulation during the work-week I can spend over the weekend.

And those pre-order big titles do cost a LOT of points, but I'd LOVE to win full access to a game on release day! … (yeah, I'm cheap)

I usually don't ever use my points except on private giveaways I have been recently informed on. But it seems like I might have too many.

With the new point system, I only join for games I want only, and when reaching to the 300 limit, I create invites for no reason.

I put my points into the most expensive stuff that expires weeks from now and remove them when needed.

I deplete my points every hour to maximize my chances. Though, this strategy hasn't worked out yet.

I just enter for games I really want and will play. There is no point in the games sitting in the library doing nothing now, is there? Plus isn't it partly why people make these giveaways in the first place- so someone can PLAY the game they are gifting?

I just usually have a lot of points on hand since I guess I have a small time where I don't use 'em in between somewhat-mass-spending where the point amount skyrockets.

Simple. Only enter for games I really want. I have no trouble keeping my point total over 200 most of the time. On the odd occasion I may dip below it but by morning of the next day I'm always well over 200 again.

Don't enter for games unless you really want them badly, if you think they'd just sit there for weeks before you played them if you won then don't enter.
