Steam Summer Sales end in two days. Last day purchase recommendation thread!

All those lovely games that have been on sale this entire time you haven't purchased will go back to their regular prices. Oh no! Well, here are some notable mentions to think about picking up on the last day of the sales! This low priced bunch of games I either own, played before, or plan to purchase. Feel free to add more in the comments. Lots more.

The Longest Journey - $2.49 - MS 91

Note: I don't recommend the sequel, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, because they were supposed to be released in chapters, but following episodes were placed on indefinite hold.

A little note on Osmos, do NOT buy that game if you aren't calm / patient...I raged harder at that game more than any other game...ever...

Osmos is an excellent game, it can be alternately very calming and relaxing or a very intense experience depending on the level you're playing.
It's not for everyone but well worth trying.

Yeah, not for everyone though haha. I am much more a fan of clutch games. Three of my friends with Osmos shared my rage filled experience.

Lets see, X3 Terran Conflict has gotten me a few hundred hours of game-play (And you can snag a mission from the event) that's going for $9.99.

If you wanna trip more then using magic mushrooms while listening to music then The Polynomial for $3.40 is a solid choice.

While the game does look like it's loaded with gameplay, $9.99 is just too pricey when you could pick up Fallout: New Vegas at Best Buy for $9.99 right now and it registers on Steam.

Eh, I'm not a fan of the Fallout games, they just aren't my cup of tea. Terran Conflict is just an awesome sandbox in my eyes.

Magicka is a brilliant game. Half the fun is hitting the wrong key or having a spell go off on the wrong player and obliterate them.
Worth it on sale or at full price.

If you did not buy Magicka, you are a bad person. Divinity 2 : The Dragonknight Saga isn't too bad, either.

Also, I didn't like Divinity 2, but then again, I didn't like Dragon Age: Origins either. I like some RPG's, I guess those just aren't my cup of tea

I got Terraria weeks ago :).

I was gonna buy a couple copies today to give away, but by the time I got around to it, the price had raised to 5 bucks. Still a good price, but eh.

A brief description next to the recommended games would be nice. I mean yeah, they have description on Steam page, but I tend to want to hear what other gamers think about the games they're recommending.

If it comes on sale tomorrow, HAWX 2 (which I have a felling it will). Great game even if u arent into flight sims very fun - not hard too play. And if you like RTS World In Conflict, very fun game - multiplayer based on teamwork.

Hmm. I tried HAWX, and couldnt get the hang of the keyboard controls. I'm gonna go back and try it with a 360 controller though. How is HAWX 2 in comparison?

I bought it during the last time it was $4.99. Such a great game. Honestly, though, if you have it on the 360 and didn't play it to death, get it for the PC! The mods for JC2 are wonderful.

I also picked it up a while ago, fun game. I was thinking about BFBC2 since it's 5 bucks, but I dunno, since I already have the game retail somewhere around here.

I'm coming late to this thread, but the Paradox Fantasy Pack was only $8 and contains some excellent simulation/role-playing games + DLC. Many hours of game-play available for a very reasonable price. Paradox Fantasy Pack
