I am only buying games on Steam right now with other people's money(from trading / selling) in protest.....can't turn down free money, no matter the cause, I'm just too shallow.

Don't like changes to the gifting system = stop buying gift copies, that's how the whole "speak with your wallet" thing works.

I stopped trading long ago, and now I'll stop buying gifts for giveaways as well.
If this is how they want it so be it, they will only get less income and a lot of angry users.
I'm sure they will never revert these changes. You can discuss, complain, leave. It doesnt matter to them

Won't bother, the amount of users that have made use of the gifting system is a
drop in the ocean and likely the kind of activity they wanted to cease altogether.
Can't have a revolution when almost nobody gives a fuck - this won't change ...

Hi! The moderators on the steam forums keep hiding the threads related to the new gifting system. So I opened a new one, and it's growing.
I ask the steamgifts community to express your thoughs on this new system there. If we are many, they'll have to (at least) hear us.
