So here is the situation: My PC desperately needed a complete reinstall, for which Windows 10 was a perfect candidate. I thought I don't have anything valuable left on the computer, when I wiped it, but boy I was wrong. I installed TftB, when I heard about Episode 4's release, today I tried to play it, but found out, that my saves vanished (no SteamCloud support).

So is there a program, which can create a save, which you can adjust on critical points of the story? Or ultimately can someone upload his/her own save file, in which they followed a similar path like me? I screenshotted every "End of Episode Summary" HERE THEY ARE
Any kind of help is appreciated. I hope my saves won't change drastically, if I don't play the first 3 episodes now.

Better no translation, than bad translation.

Do you still have the "windows.old" folder?

I did the same thing yesterday, although I lost my save for Bloods TD, was working on 100% slowly...deleted windows.old before I realized Bloons was on my main SSD.

I said I wiped the computer, which means I reinstalled the OS from scratch. I formatted the HDD too, so there is absolutely no chance, that the save file remained untouched :S

Yeah I formatted when going to Windows 10 too...it saves your old windows in a folder..lol

Assuming you have a HDD, you can use something like recuva to dig up the deleted file. Even if you did a format and clean install, PC files can still be sniffed out and recovered to usable form.

Well, thanks for the tips, but a good friend of mine came to my rescue. One thing though: He is playing a pirated copy. If I copy his saves, will they affect my genuine Steam copy any way?
