Does anyone bother pressing the pedestrian crossing button?

I have a typo in the poll. If you can figure it out tell me xD

It lets me cross instantly on just one road, on every other it doesn't do jack shit...

I'm pressing it because one time nobody pressed it and pedestrians didn't get green light at all.

It was weird. Cars have green, change to yellow, change to red, I'm getting ready to move, cars get green again.

There's only one of those between my house and I where I used to walk to, it worked fine lol haven't had to press it in four years since I bought a car though lol

I only press it if I think it would make the light change faster.

Damn near every time. I often feel retarded standing there waiting for it to change to the walk signal, but when I'm driving I really want to run over the fucking retards who don't use it and make me use my brakes and hold up the cars behind me when I shouldn't have to. The other ones who are smart about it and know when to cross without getting in the flow of traffic, I'm just jealous of their ability to never get in trouble since I always feel like I'm a magnet for getting caught and unreasonably punished if I do even the slightest wrong thing.

In Sydney the green light for pedestrians doesn't light up at all unless you press the button, so "yes".

You only get green light if you press it in germany. Is more efficient as drivers do not have to stop unless there are pedestrians.

i even press the one for blind people - tells you the street and it vibrates when the light is green :)

In Tarnów, Poland if you don't press it you won't get green light.

I press it then get my other fingers ready. People try to run you down regardless of the pedestrian light.

One of those poll options is just weird.

Some are timed, some are biased towards the button.

I only hover in places I know will let me cross instantly. Which is to say that if it's a button, I ain't touching that gross motherfucker.

In Amsterdam we really don't care much about what color the light is.
Just walk. Chances of survival are pretty guud.

Well a couple of people got killed in my country by pressing it ( bad electric isolation ) So i don't press it at all although i sometimes feel tempted to press it with my ass.

The time it takes to change its often quicker to just wait for a brief lack of traffic and then run across the road
