I just spent 3,5 hours doing this puzzle and I got shit at the end. Completely not worth it. Is it just jigidi with no actual GA? Can you pls check Kazan Arena, Kazan Kul Sharif Mosque BioShock Infinite.

Finally registered, filled predictions for groups only (because "wait & see" to fill round of 16, and also because this after penalties rule really change it all^^).

I'll obviously go for France since it's my country. Not 100% optimistic for a win, but it's a nice team, with very good players, just maybe slightly unbalanced. I think they can go to the semi-finals, and then, who knows...after all, nobody was optimistic about our chances when we won the WC 20 years ago ^^. Other selections I'll follow when I can : Argentina and Mexico, even if both don't seem to be at their best :/

But in 98 Zidane was in the team! Unfortunately, there are no such players now, Griezmann, Pogba and others are not impressive in important matches. Anyway, good luck France, I always liked this team.

Sadly true about Zidane, it may take some decades to find another one like him in the national team.
Also true about Pogba, even if he shows better things recently and plays simpler, we will see if he keeps it this way.
I just may disagree about Griezmann in important matches, since he scored twice vs. my favourite team (thanks dude...) in Europa League final last month. (ok, it was not with France, but still :p).

I didn't quite write correctly, I mean important matches for the national team, of course (I generally prefer national teams football). I just was a little disappointed with the finale of the past Euro. For some reason, many stars in the matches for the national team look worse than for the clubs. And players like Pogba, overrated, unstable, but so boastful - the reason for me not to watch football at all.

As a german I remember too good that Griezman can score in important matches (semi-finals @euro 2016)

It's hard to argue about this. Yes, he scored 2 goals in this game, although, not particularly impressive goals, besides, about this game, if Germany had a normal striker, such as Klose, I think they would have won, this was the only missing element in this team. But in the finale, when Portugal closed in defense, against such teams, when for him there are no free zones, he didn't show something outstanding. Maybe I just find fault, I was very disappointed with this finale, when the team that won only one match in regular time won the tournament. Of course, he is a fantastic player, the best French football player to date and one of the best in the world, maybe he just doesn't have enough luck in the big finals (with all due respect, Europa League doesn't apply to them, in my opinion, this is a useless tournament).

I always root for France and Germany. It's tough when they play each other. Hopefully both will win their groups and they can meet in the Final!

Neither did I-- I predicted 2-0. Once it got to 3-0, though, it was good that Russia got an extra goal (or two), because nobody picked 4-0 or 5-0. I feel bad for the Saudis, though. They have pride like anybody else and nobody wants to lose 5-0. =(

In about a month from 14 June to 15 July 2018 there will be the 21st FIFA World Cup in Russia. 32 teams compete to determine the worlds best football team and the successor of 2014 winner Germany (yay! 😄)
I got the idea that we can make a prediction game here and enjoy this event together.
Also I will add giveaways from time to time with different conditions to join. I will put in some hopefully interesting information about the teams, venues or other topic concerning the event in the next weeks.
Rules
You predict the result of the game up to 5 minutes before the match starts. if you get the entirely correct result you get 10 points, if you have the incorrect result but the right tendency you get 5 points
Example
At the moment the default setting for when a match ends for the prediction is active which is after penalty shoot.
Furthermore there are some questions you have to answer up to 5 minutes before the first match starts on 14th June.
