I need a problem solving probably quite a noobish one, I think i have selected my artboard in the panel next to where layers are but now the layers i was working i cant see or find cmd + z will not undo what i done? Any ideas, I have lost a couple of hours of work :(

next time save every 30 mins .. and u can look if something is covering your work layer

Yeah think thats a new rule, and yeah nothing is covering the layer after cmd + z all it undone was objects I had moved so i think im only viewing it and nothing is deleted I just cant seem to see the layers only the blank art board :/ thanks for suggestion though :)

make sure you didn't unclick the eye symbol next to the layer - this toggles whether or not the layer is visible

if you grouped all your layers and unclicked the eye next to the group, all layers in the group will become invisible too

edit: also i'm pretty sure cmd + z is undo but what you REALLY want is to go to the edit menu and there's one (I forget the keyboard shortcut) but it's called 'step backward' and that should actually undo stuff properly

OK, its ok people crisis averted turns out whatever keyboard shortcut i pressed zoomed me in by 1600% to the artboard to the right of what i was working on why it is set up like that i dont know :s im working on a file given to me form someone else.

Adobe illustrator? Meh... Corel Draw in my opinion is much better for vector graphic.
