Changed my SG username because my "true" name became available.

No, but it is short for my full name.

It could be worse, I could share surname with a Star Trek character and thus have to hear Star Trek jokes that I don't understand all the time, and that name being very rare (as in 3 persons in Sweden having it) and thus most people assume that it's a taken name rather than a given name (oh wait, that's actually how it is)

Now you've got me running through Star Trek character names in my head to try to figure yours out. ARGH.

People know me as my name, if I change it and change my logo, then how would people know me? Mind you one day if I ever need to hide... I might do just that. Sighjinear... no one will ever know its me.

I really can't run, injured foot. In a war zone, I really should be more careful where I step.

I use same nickname for Steam, Steamgifts, Origin, PSN, XBL, NID, etc.
Never change one, it's either Xtreme-Void or XtremeVoid (if "-" not allowed).

Used to change my Steam username a decent amount back when I played TF2 pretty nearly every day. Usually just having fun with other people on the server. (Key word: with -- not usually trolling. Sometimes we'd all change our names to as close as we could get to the exact same name as each other, for example (replacing capital Is with lower-case ls, etc.). Random fun shit.)

Well, sometimes I use my name (Dan or Razvan), sometimes I use the internet nickname I use the most, and sometimes I use a username that fits the character I am playing in a game which shares ign with steam name (Ana if my character is female).

I was supposed to front a band with some friends and we were going to call it Mombeater. Never ended up doing it tho. The Prime part comes from Hordak's generic legion of soldiers.

I think the best band names I've heard are Pitchfork Abortion and Wombstretcha the Magnificent (of the deliberately revolting ones, that is).

Shotgun Facelift was a good one I heard back in the day. I'm actually going to check Soulseek for Wombstretcha right now. With a name like that, he's gotta be fun.

I tend to use the same or similar names. BlueDsc is my usual if Dsc isn't available.

My last name is "Fyan" and I've always been overly annoyingly positive according to my friends so that's how the name spawned. :D

Nope, it's been the same since I made it. I don't think I'll ever change it. I like being 'evil' and I will always love cats :p

I never could find my pretty good nickname. Mattereye is kinda deep, but I use a lot of names on the web. I would love to have a dream in which I just saw perfect nickname.

Almost always when you do a trade with me on steam there is a message that I recently changed nickname XD
But mostly I use the Mattereye one, I never saw that unavaible when creating account and it's simple but also tells many things about me.
Matt stands for shortcut of my name which is Matthew (actually translation of my real name is Matthew)
er stands for a sex - in german er means he
eye stands for my vision defect. When site demands a number in nickname (yes there are sites that demand numbers in nickname...) I also add 37 which is my favorite number.

I always use the same username everywhere, with a few exceptions on website I'd rather not be stalked to.

I do not necessarily like my name, but I'd rather want that people can recognize me than going through all the trouble of changing my name and confusing anyone I know. Heck, a username is a username, it's just a tag to identify a person from another on the internet.

Pretty much this, although some guy thought I had an account on Minecraft's forum because there's some guy whose username is "REGINLEIFXPS3".

Funny thing is, I have no interest in Minecraft and therefore I don't have an account there :P.
