I think the price should be a bit lower but maybe the mystery games will make it worth it,either way for now i pass on it

There was a Groupees bundle (I think it was a Be Mine) where the mystery game that got revealed a week after the bundle started was Drakensang - River of Time. An awesome addition to an already pretty good bundle.
Yup, found it: https://groupees.com/bm18

Got it for Tea Party Simulator... I'll probably regret it after the mystery games are revealed, but I'll take the gamble this time.

That was the one game that made me consider it.
Snuggle Truck has a Rainbow Pony Badge that's strangely tempting, but other than that, Vanguard Princess is the only title that really sticks out besides Tea Party, and I already own VP :X

You'd think that every now and then they'd put an awesome game in for the mystery game just so that they can hook us for another 5 crappy mystery games later.

They should've made a good impression by putting up decent bundle, at least no or few repeats and good pricing. This one is not a good start.
Edit: Got a note that this is entirely their own work (OP's) first time as curator, so it's understandable. Thought it was Flying who curated it as a whole, my bad.

How do the mystery games work? Is there any benefit to buying the bundle before they're revealed? if not, why doesn't everyone just wait until they're known? On other sites, there is usually a price to pay for delaying your purchase.. but here, the price isn't variable.

I'm not sure of that myself. There doesn't seem to be any point in it for Groupees or Flying Bundles, since the price of their bundles [unlike core Humble Bundles and their mystery add-ons] never change.
Also, go claim your bonus game prize in the event thread :P

I would ask how it works myself, but I have a feeling they have intention to use it as a 'free advertising' or 'free echo' for lack of better word. Pretty much like what Humble does everytime, whenever they release the mystery games people would create a buzz which is beneficial for the sales. Of course it is understandable as it is considered as common marketing tactic.
As it stands, the pricing is static, so cost wise it's not beneficial for buyers unlike Groupees' preorders for example. Humble also sometimes gives benefit for the buyers since their BTA is lower at the beginning and gradually increasing, so basically cheaper bonus mystery BTA. Without looking at the scenario they have in mind I can't really tell or judge or make analysis.
Now for me, I usually buy bundles for +1, so I calculate the cost/game count I get. Waiting for the Mystery Games so I can determine.
