You haven't even played the first two Zeno Clash games even though you own them. So if you want strangeweird and special, you can have that at anytime :)

The Zeno Clash games use Source engine, like Half Life 2. They aged incredibly well, I think mainly because of that (source is an excellent, and remarkably stable engine). They are still worth playing, because they have an incredibly weird and bizarre, but strangely coherent world. I personally liked the second a lot better because by that time I got used to the "mythos" and words of the world.

I've never won anything from my Wishlist so, ... it would seem better to jump on less popular giveaways. Upside is I have discovered a few gems (batting 50/50). I do try to play all my wins relatively quickly otherwise I'd never discover those gems. Though that's on pause while I attempt the "finish a win in June event" which I'm not going succeed at (noob alert, I chose death stranding, I've got 50 hours to go).

Funnily i'm trying to win "Hero of the Kingdom: The Lost Tales 3", thinking "oh this one must be playable and finishable lol"
I say funnily cause i finished the 1 and 2 and they were far from being the most exciting games, but let's just say they would have been an easy victory (i mean easily finishable) on Backlog Assassins ! XD

I don't know, I'd understand the question as a game I entered for a lot of times, but still couldn't win it (it would be stupid to to say a game I've seen once or twice, Moby Dick as the titular white whale is a nemesis-like recurring element for Ahab)
I don't think I have anything that really counts, only a few games with sub-dozen GAs I entered, because they were in more expensive BYOBs, not proper ones. (Root, Everdell)

Thank you for the thought, I just forgot that in the haze of some family drama and workplace drama I caved in and bought two copies from the grey market to play it with my GF (before we're opting in to buy a much more expensive physical version. I try to be a bit more responsible with money, and plan ahead wherever we can)

For me would be Stellar Blade (but let's be honest, how many giveaways of that are around XD?) or Space Marine 2, but most probably I'll end buying them for the right price (reported to my wallet ofcourse). I know the games are kinda new, but besides those, some of my wishlisted games get my attention always.

Dungeons & little kitty I bought via bundle and glad I did. Little kitty big city is just a bunch of fun and silly hat collecting but has very little replayability. 😭
Dungeons is a lot of fun and the story is really good. It’s kinda ham fisted but I’ve nearly completed it when I lost steam on it. Fun customization options too.

I only enter wishlisted giveaways and random AAA games I'd be willing to try. Often whitelist giveaways introduce me to new games to wishlist.
So I don't really have a "white whale", I only regret not getting the Humble Choice that had Coral Island. Not an expensive game, I'm just cheap.

Lucky me finally won the two Frog Detectives, but no dice yet for Creepy Tales.

i check the disussions to see if there is a giveaway train or something like that
then i make sure to click on Wishlisted, and enter all of those giveaways
then i go to the groups tab and (usually) enter all of those that are interesting
if i have any leftover points ill sift through all giveaways and enter some that are interesting looking

What is your giveaway white whale? The games you always immediately jump on for a chance to win and never do.
Mine are frog detective and creepy games (I won the first one and 100% it so now I’m just trying to get the last few), I love the idea of those games. I also find I’m curious as to what others are also going for that may not be the most wish listed game or etc. :)
