There are things he like about the game but he got a point that for a game that was 5? years in development and is about to be released this looks more like a beta and it does not look like a game made by trillion worth company.

Yeah some good points for sure.
But.. the quality of his video and that movement bug makes it look terrible. Much worse than it is currently. Never experienced that at all myself. Must have been patched day 1 of beta. Runs fine for me.
But yes the game feels empty. Hence my OP question.

From what I heard and read:
To tell the truth since the combat is supposed to be darksoulslike I think summons or pets or any auto attacking skills are out of the question. Also some debufs, dots or roots etc. spells would make people that go into magebuilds the most powerful and to counter that these types of skills would be given to everyone under different names making all builds be the same.
But right now I also think that Dex + Con builds would be the strongest as Dex would give you good range damage and also good melee damage with light fast weapons and Con will give you good hp. I won't be surprised if Dex + Con will rule PvP in the game.

Well I sense no Dark Souls in this anymore. Plays more like 3D Zelda action game. So there would be no reason not to shape things up with more variety/buttons. I never understood why PC-only mmorpgs limit themselves to 3 buttons. To me, it's insanity. (Looks down at keyboard) As for overpowered'ness.. That's always been a thing of balance and good skill design. I don't think it should limit potential complexity.
Some/many seem perfectly fine with hammering the same 3 buttons for 100'-1000's of hours.

Well I don't know about PC-Only but long time ago when I did play WoW I had to use 20 buttons on my rogue and about 16 on my shaman. That is why the game needed add-ons to put so many key bindings into groups for easier access to skills and button combo like shift/ctrl/alt + something.

The issue seems to be with EVGA cards. There's people I know playing with a 3090 that are not having any issues, their cards aren't EVGA.

TL:DR: It's a design issue with the EVGA FTW 3080/3090 fan controller, and not only New World triggers it (which wasn't new, a lot of EVGA FTW 3090 cards also died with Halo MC and some other game I can't remember now).

1: I don't know anything about the game itself, but I have heard enough issues about it that I'm going to wait for a while before I look into it.
2: Anybody in a Beta signs an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) saying they won't discuss the game itself outside of dedicated Beta-only forums (the main reason stated for this is things are going to change before launch, and they don't want people to be upset about things, aka bugs or features, that won't even be in the game in the end). If you are a participant, and discuss the game, they have the right to revoke access to the Beta as well as ban you from the main game. For example, I was a Beta tester for Star Trek Online (I'm allowed to talk about it now, the Beta and therefore the NDA ended over 10 years ago), and over 1,000 people got perma-banned because they posted videos on YouTube reviewing the game. Granted, it's very unlikely they'll see anything posted here, but it's something to be aware of, and it's at least one of the reasons nobody is saying "Yeah, I'm in the Beta!"

There is no active NDA on this beta.
They are even giving out free keys through streamers/content creators - while also running keydrops for free cosmetic items.
It is a free for all advertisement fiesta 👍

Huh. That's the first time I've heard of a Beta not having an NDA ... but that's cool. I always thought it was kind of silly to prevent anybody from hyping up their games before launch.

Is there a plan to add more skills in the future, and increase our options?
The mouseclick + 1 2 3, is bound to get very repetitive. In fact, it already is. Would love to see some other specials not tied to weapons.
Summons/pets, buffs/debuffs, chants/aoe pulses, blink/stealth, root/mesmerize... Ect.
Anything that would allow us to spec into an actual Character, and distinguish ourselves from everyone else?
