games based on movies?

Nothing since basically the NES days when they hired out shit like that to people like Capcom.

Normally they just do not care enough to try since it will ship units regardless thanks to careless parents.

I heard that Riddick and King Kong videogames were good.
For PS2 I think.

You can't have good and cheap thing at the same time (Expect Bad Rats). Choose the one you want more.

Riddick is excellent. Not necessarily to do with what happens in the films but set in the same universe and Vin Diesel does the voice over.

Star Wars: Battlefront I & II

Star Wars: Jedi Academy - this game is older but still has one of best fighting models and it is great to play with friends

Movie tie-in games are generally horrid. Chronicles of Riddick doesn't count, as the movie was actually made as a follow up to the game and the game's action doesn't really have anything to do with Pitch Black. Only good true movie based game I've ever played is X-Men Origins Wolverine. Which is kind of a paradox, given how that movie sucks, while good movies, vastly superior to it got absolutely shameful video games, most prominent example being Iron Man.

Ghostbusters are surprisingly good.
