Use a different launcher.
Nova, Apex, ADW, Go Launcher, Action Launcher. There's dozens more, just look one of them up on google play and click similar apps. Or look here or here or here or here or here (massive list).
I prefer ADW.Launcher myself, because you can categorize your apps, and create shortcuts to the categories (which will open up as folders) on the homescreen.

I just installed Nova Launcher, it's freaking awesome, IDK how but it's 3X faster, and I can have unlimited folder space!

I have Android 4.2.2. I use folders a lot and I can't add anything else, and if I add tooo many I can't see some of the apps in the folder. Is there some way you could scroll to see the rest of the folder; like iOS?
Edit: Closing this thread, to fix it download Nova Launcher off the Google Play store.
