Reminds me of this.

I used to thank on every GA I entered. Then lowered to one per person daily to not be spammy. Lately due to personal issues I really don't feel like thanking all the time. I still do thank in threads and trains and events... But not as much as people deserve, I think.

However I *always have thanked everytime I win anything, doesn't matter how big or small, some say I thank too effussively but that's me. And I blueheart every one of them too. I also like that when someone wins something from me, to be thanked, some personal message you know. Those also get a blueheart. The ones who don't... get the opposite.

So thanks for reminding us that thanking is part of the nice side of SG. Not greediness, not +1. Just people sharing games and giving away generously, cuz they are nice enough to do so.

I don't expect any thanks for creating a GA, but from a winner, I do. The lack of a simple 'thank you' from a winner is considered a rude act by me. So when my winner does not write anything after he/she activated the gift, I put them on my BL. If he/she has no time to write this little word (ofc the gesture matters not the word), then I make sure we won't meet in the same circumstances anymore.
