Steam Refunds

Saw some statements they got refunds within few hours.

Submitted mine about 10 hours ago, I think.
[EDIT] Just checked, got refunded within 3 hours. Sweet.

I got one refund approved within an hour. Second refund request was submitted 9 hours ago, and I have not yet received information about approval. So its a gamble now.

We do not consider it abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale and then immediately rebuying that title for the sale price.

Been a day now, and I haven't received a refund.

i got a refund 2 days ago (1 day after submiting it) but still havent gotten the money

I put a refund on a game, got a refund notification saying it was successful(June 9th), but I still haven't recieved the money.

The topic is a bit old, but I was wondering - people who were granted refunds, when did you get your money back in your Steam wallet? In how many days that is, as it seem the time is quite long. Some hints will be appreciated to have an approximate time, thanks!

Took me 45 minutes to get my refund after using my debit card on my friends account to buy him ARK.
I think the time just depends on how busy the Steam employees are.

Steam never denied to refund me, that is my experience.

Bought MGS V then realized my computer didn't met the min requirement. Asked for refund stating the min requirement stuff. Got an email from support accepting my refund solicitation, but it will take up to 7 days until the money gets back to me (bought using my steam wallet credits). This happened 2 days ago so I'm in the 7 day period so far.

Did anyone try to refund a game bought at a 3rd party store, like GMG?+

They accepted my refund ticket within a couple hours, however they were holding my money for 3 days before they finally returned it.

I had multiple refunds. Usually they approve somewhere between 30 minutes to 12 hours. I don't think any of my refunds took longer.
However, it took about 2 days for funds to be available in wallet.

I made the horrible mistake of purchasing a Double Fine game (cash grab, a.k.a. Grim Fandango Remaster). So I asked for a refund immediately and it took them 2-3 days to deposit the money to my Wallet.

I have a Steam Support Ticket opened because I was successfully approved for a refund but even in 10 days no funds have been refunded to me even though they took the game out of my account. Have gotten two automated responses that didn't address my problem in the slightest....

It got judged in a few hours, and I got back the money in 3 days, give or take. It's nice because they take back games you have lot longer, and even if it's played for more than 2 hours.

Seems to be about 2 days, I just had wallet funds reimbursed from a refund I requested 2 days ago

From what i've heard from my friend, your money will not be transferred until a week after the refund-ticket. They will also take a certain amount of the money spent on the game, so you won't get a complete refund.

Refund approval is fast but crediting the money to your account can take days.

I've had to refund a couple of purchases. It took about an hour for them to respond, and it will be a week before I can spend the money in my Steam wallet.

I refunded a couple of "I bought this by mistake" back to my Steam wallet.
The refund got approved within 3 hours, but the money is locked for more than 3 days. Luckily I get to spend my refunded wallet for the encore.

My refund took about 4 days...

I got approved for the two refunds very quickly, I got the money back 3 days after each.
