Kult: Heretic Kingdoms
I was playing this game like 10 years ago, and it was AWESOME. It might be the first rpg I have ever played ( Yeah I am not that old ).
Plot:

Hundreds of years ago, the game world's God was killed by a hero wielding the Godslayer sword. Centuries later, one of his descendants used the power of that sword to institute a theocratic rule, before eventually being defeated. The Inquisition is then established to stamp out any forms of religion in the land. The protagonist, Alita, is an inquisitor-in-training, but also another descendant of the Godslayer sword. The story begins after the mythical sword is stolen by a group of religious zealots intent on resurrecting the God.

The player is tasked with retrieving the legendary artifact. Throughout the course of the game, a series of choices made by the player can lead the protagonist to choose a variety of paths, following or breaking with the Inquisition and changing the game's ending.

I just wondered if you guys played this gem.
I was also searching if there is sequel to it.
And I found that the developers made Shadows: Heretic Kingdom in 2014.

Hm. I'll wishlist it out of interest. It has mixed ratings.

Currently in the humble bundle is Van Helsing II, the latest one is III.
I'm playing II a bit at the moment and to be honest it's not that good.
All of them have mixed ratings too.

Fight the Dragon is on my wishlist in the Diablo-ish category.

But if you don't limit it to hack'n'slash and go for all the Baldurs Gate kind of games.
Balders Gate I and II as well as Icewind Dale are on steam.
I have Divinity: Original Sin in my library.

What I really really really want is Pillars of Eternity.

Wow, haven't heard that name in AGES. I still have a copy from a gaming magazine, not really sure if it will work on my pc now but I spent some time with that game. It was interesting with that spirit realm gimmick.

Got Kult: Heretic Kingdoms/Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition on GOG a while back and it was nice, though it sadly failed to hold my interest all the way through.

Hmmm...this new one indeed looks good! I might check it out too!
Thanks!
I'm not Hack'n'Slash fan (last one from that genre was Diablo 2, which did not really live for long on my PC lol), rather a CRPG and/or turn-based tactical/RPG fan. Y'know, like Baldur's Gate 1-2(and 1.5 soon), Fallout 1-2-Tactics, Jagged Alliance, Arcanum, Pillars of Eternity, Wasteland, X-Com (and XCOM too).
Hope you know Pillars of Eternity too ;) Awesome cRPG at last, after many years. Even Dragon Age Origins was not that good (but almost), and though Divinity:Original Sin was fantastic at the beginning, it lost momentum and got boring towards the end. ^_^
(and yeah, if you like zombie apocalypse genre, which seems to grow on every tree in these days, check out Dead State)

Cheers! ^_^

About zombie apocalypse, I like FPS games more. I really want to play Pillars of Eternity. I have never played Dragon Age games but I played the Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. It is also very charming at the beginning but it gets boring after dying too many times :D I want to try Dark Souls 2 if I manage to finish first one :D

The Souls series is Japanese hack & slash with some really miniature, low-level JRPG system added on top. Pillars of Eternity is a slow-paced old (well, ancient) school cRPG; the two are really, really different in terms of gameplay, although both happen to use the manipulation of souls as their central theme.

Yes I know they are different, I am actually not into rpg's that much, but I really enjoy some of them

Sounds like you are more of an ARPG player. Although that is a good thing for you, since it is the de facto prominent sub-genre of video game RPGs for a decade now, with actual cRPG being rare birds before last year's sudden comeback.

I have a few Isometric RPG's on my account such as

Avadon

Avadon 2

Eschalon Book I, II, and III.

Fallout 1, 2 , Tactics.

Project Zomboid.

I think there are more, but those are the top of my head.

While I haven't played Kult, I did add Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms to my wishlist a while ago. Waiting for a deeper discount though.

I recall something about Kult. Although since it's just a generic hack & slash, I never really looked more into it.

One that I've been scoping out in that category is Victor Vran...it receives pretty good reviews so you may wish to check it out as well.
