I want to show you a group of volunteers which are helping indie game developers and one man studios with translating their games:
We are still searching people which have native languages except for english. But also english people can help. You can help with fixing our texts or if you have a certified language knowledge you can help with translations too!
You can find more infos on the page: Greenlight Translators
Have fun :)
Edit: Thanks for all the registrations! I am happy to see people engaging. I got many registrations and I can't handle all at the moment. Please be patient ;) And THANKS for all the support :)
Edit2: We got our first request for the languages for the languages japanese and korean. So we are in need of japanese translators. So come on and register please :)

i can help translating into lithuanian :P
I guess I can help you with Brazilian-Portuguese
aww 1 minute late xD If you need any help Lucas, I'm here as well for Portuguese :)
EDIT: Já agora, que Português? PT-BR ou PT-PT?
In that case, I'm PT-PT, if that makes a difference somehow :)
Was seeing the info but since i already see pt-pt let me stay with my free time haha
hated to see brazilian listed there and not portuguese, but have spanish and not mexican or argentinian...
tough actually "spanish" isn't accurate too, it should be refered as Castellaño, Catalán, Basque, Galego...
The idea is cool tough
Brazilian listed as a language? Better list Mexican too.
Sounds nice, but have you tried official steam translation groups? Take the greek one for example. I'd gladly help (for greek translation) but have you discussed with any game developer about you idea? Do they seem interested?
I guess you are talking about games that have been accepted in greenlight, otherwise the list would be huge.
One already "ordered" me for the german translation. The game is Folk Tale and the company Games Foundry. It is now on Greenlight. So we do what we get. Of course not every game publisher want us to translate their games but I think thats normal.
I can help with Polish, got a FCE certificate
That would be a great help!
Also can help with ENG->POL translations, yet due to RL activities have limited time (up to 8-10h/week).
I can't add you on Steam. Please try adding me.
I can help with this one too ;]
I'm not sure how much my time would let me do it, but I guess I could help with games with lower amounts of text. That means visual novels are a no-no but platformers with stories and dialogue (like Cave Story or Treasure Adventure game) are okay. Maybe I'll apply with my hungarian knowledge...
Of course. Every help is good :D
My situation is like TheGreenFairy, and I can translate is Bengali.
I would help for translations EN->IT! ;)
I can help with Spanish and Catalan (from EN)
EDIT: I'm Spanish, I've translated other things as interviews and some lines of mods.
Native Spanish (South America, not Spain) speaker here with a high English level willing to translate both ways.
Not sure how much spare time I'll have but I could help with some smaller projects. (preferably English -> Polish ones)
unforetunately i suck ast all languages apart from anglais
I can help with Spanish. I'm preparing for the FCE examination.
Sure, I can do French to English and obviously English to French.
Well, we're gonna see where this is going soon enough!
I used the link provided in the group page, but apparently it's even better to go from here haha.
I've been in the business as a part-time freelance (don't ask how that works) for a year or so now, so I'm sure I can provide English to French and possibly French to English (although I still make a few mistakes here and there, mainly with those small words).
I would like you to confirm there's gonna be an interview because I do have some terms (simple formalities) :)
i can help some on French to English.
I can help translate from english to german. Already translated some stuff for Android Devs on crowdin.net, so i got some experience!
I would be glad to help! :)
Just saw that you are german yourself, do you need me anyway?
I can help with Spanish, but my question is, you need to have certified language knowledge? im from mexico and i learned English cause i live in Tijuana and some friends from USA forced me to learn.
I can help you with Spanish language (South america), I'm from Uruguay and I have studied English for 5 years now.
Already sent my form~ Actually I'm working as translator for videogames (in develop atm) and I'm studying "Translation and Interpretation" at college (I'm taking the CAE at the end of this year) so I'd love helping with this. Btw, my first language is Spanish (South America - Chile).
Sent in a form, can help with anything swedish.
Thanks for all the registrations! I am happy to see people engaging. I got many registrations and I can't handle all at the moment. Please be patient ;) And THANKS for all the support :)
Steam Store pages are translated by STS
As far as I know, only when the publisher doesn't submit his own text?
Oh my, I really would like to help you! I can translate games to polish (I've put italian, though I know not too much, really ^^"). Anyway, I hope I'll be able to help you as I'd like to work as translator in future :) If it's good enough, I have translated some things to Steam Translations, so I have experience.
I'd really like to help so I've sent a registration form.... I'm an English-Spanish translator and this'd be an excellent way to build up some game-related experience! =D
EDIT: My native language is Spanish (I'm from Argentina) =]
Me gusta mucho Buenos Aires, he ido alla una vez y me quedé en un Hostel cerca de la Avenida Corrientes, llamado Hostel Calles Floridas. Muy linda ciudad! Buena suerte con las traducciones!
I don't know if you need Indonesian language, but I can help with English-Indonesian translation.
