Hello steamgifts!

I want to show you a group of volunteers which are helping indie game developers and one man studios with translating their games:

Greenlight Translators

We are still searching people which have native languages except for english. But also english people can help. You can help with fixing our texts or if you have a certified language knowledge you can help with translations too!

You can find more infos on the page: Greenlight Translators

Have fun :)

Edit: Thanks for all the registrations! I am happy to see people engaging. I got many registrations and I can't handle all at the moment. Please be patient ;) And THANKS for all the support :)

Edit2: We got our first request for the languages for the languages japanese and korean. So we are in need of japanese translators. So come on and register please :)

The registration form does not inspire confidence :
"You won't get payed"
That should be 'paid'. According to Webster, the spelling 'payed' is only used in the sense of 'to slacken (as a rope) and allow to run out'...

Also, language names always start with a capital letter in English.
Also, the is no such language as 'brazilian' - it's either 'Brazilian Portuguese' or just 'Portuguese'.

Sorry if this sounds like nitpicking, but when doing a translation portal thingy, it's probably a good idea to be precise in these matters :)

My native language is dutch, and my english is pretty good.

I can try... =) I've got some experience with translating scientific papers, and this project looks interesting to try.

I'm wondering now if we could translate games that are already on steam... I know it's greenlight translations but what if you could do something more than that?

Form's closed. I partially work as a translator (German) anyway and I've been translating for Ubisoft recently. Also I've contacted some Greenlight developers myself... since I's bored.
