Day 5 Afternoon
Time for lunch at 道の駅 大杉
I got the boar meat set - it was not very good. The meat was sliced extremely thin, was way too fatty, and was completely soaked in some kind of sauce. You could only taste the sauce, no meat at all.
Also the special Otoyo Tajikawa Soba. The noodles are much thicker than normal soba, and are a bit stiffer, which makes them break apart easily.

Finally, after lunch we went up to Sugi no Osugi - the world's tallest Japanese Cedar. There's a nice little shrine there too.
