Wow. My numbers are all messed up. lol. Well. We can just have two #3's. Sorry about that. :) My brain..RIP

I know. In my world, their must be two #3... lol. I can't edit it either. I was trying to type and do something else, so this is what I get.

Thank you so much. I didn't know you can do that on discussion. You are so awesome. 2 gold stars for you.You just made my week. :)

My WL is not that big though. I cleared the list maybe 2 years ago and I rarely add any games. But lately I started adding more to get notifications about sales.

Some good choices. My hubby bought Inzoi early on. He plays it from time to time. I got Celeste and never played it. Manor Lords I bought early on, and again, never played it. I was so hyped for that game. It's sadly collecting dust in my library. Never heard of first one. My hubby recently bought Cyberpunk but I never played it personally. I want to try it on my new system and his as well.

Oh I love Chicken Invaders series :) I played it as a kid and recently got Chicken Invaders 5 in a mystery box and was so happy, so I just played it several days until I finished it 😅

3 is super hard 😂 I'm playing co-op with my sister and we have yet to beat it. We did come close last time, but that's it. 3rd part's brutal when it comes to dying!!
We wanna play 4 and 5 too, when the time comes.
Comment has been collapsed.
I must've missed it T_T I'll get it on Steam for sure. One day ... I will...
Comment has been collapsed.
I deleted my steam wishlist so I guess technically none of them... :p But these are what would probably be there
And I guess that's technically 5 games so I'll just leave it at that :p

Ghosts of Tsushima is on my list. I am worried it might be too repetitive but I heard the world and story is so amazing. I am more excited to play Black Myth: Wukong. A game I forgot to include at the top. I just put games not out yet. If I included released games, BMW would be up there really high along with Fabledom and The Forest. I divide my wishlist by games released and not release and forgot to include to released games.
Comment has been collapsed.
Ghost of Tsushima is very good and the world looks gorgeous. The random encounters with the enemies on the roads get old pretty fast and there are some filler side quests that aren't much fun, but the rest of the game and story is really worth it.
Comment has been collapsed.
I was worried it would be like Assassin's Creed too much, no offense. It's like Shadow of Mordor. I loved that game but it got a little repetitive probably because of me because I tried to kill every orc on the map every time going across to do a new mission. I'm not sure it was supposed to be played that way. Is this game got a good amount of variety in combat and gameplay?

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds - 100% the first game in the series twice, need more (Transformed didn't hit the same sadly)
Denshattack! - My kind of crazy.
Duskfade - One of the best looking 3D platformers I've ever seen.
Metaphor: ReFantazio - One of the more interesting looking JRPG's I've seen in years.
Elin - The isolmetric pixel art reminds me a lot of some games I really loved playing as a kid, totally hits me in the nostolgia.

I can honestly say I never heard of any of the games in your top 5. Now I got more games to investigate. Thanks. :)

I played ATS for a long time but haven't in a few years. I don't generally like racing but their is a game called IRacing Arcade i got on my wishlist that looks fun.

Hunt showdown: I really love the vibes and the atmosphere from the screenshots and videos I've seen
Disillusion ST: Played the first one and I loved the design of the game as a whole, iirc the creator took some inspiration from lsd simulator that's why it looks trippy in most areas. Also has one of my favorite character designs in all games I've played (Mel the muse)
Stonemachia: Not released yet but it's a soulslike where you play as chess pieces
Kenshi: a friend recommended it to me because he thought I'd like it since I enjoyed the difficulty of darkest dungeon(they don't look similar but he described me some stuff of said game and it sounds fun)
Nier Automata: I've only heard good things about it and one time I came across it's soundtrack and it was phenomenal ngl
My wishlist isn't that big (34 games with around 10 of those being unreleased) because I remove games either due to thinking that in the end I might not enjoy it that much or because I played it on a different platform. Can't wait for more comments so I can indirectly get recommendations lol

I had Nier Automata on and off my wishlist a few times. I don't know if I will like it or not.
Comment has been collapsed.
Kenshi is a really interesting game, but the difficulty really comes down to how you choose to play it (and if you choose to save scum or not). It's more of sandbox game, and it's up to you if you want to play it as a survival/craft, a stealth game, a party-based crpg, a base builder/city-sim, a trade management sim, or some hybrid mash-up of any/all of those (and that's without getting into mods). There's no story or objective, so that's something to keep in mind if that's important to you. I'd still recommend giving it a try even you're not sure, though. I normally HATE games with survival/craft systems, but I ended up really enjoying Kenshi. I've been meaning to get back to it for a while now.

Just because all of them seems perfect <3
Honorable mentions: Card Shark - Drive Beyond Horizons - The Precinct

I got Whiskerwood and Eriksholm is one I really want to play when it goes down in price a significant amount. Whiskerwood had a great demo. By the way how do you add the games as a blue link? Thanks for reply by the way.

Awesome. I edited the top and changed it. People here are so nice. :)

https://store.steampowered.com/app/251290/The_Legend_of_Heroes_Trails_in_the_Sky_SC/ - played the first one and liked it so much. the first one ends in a cliffhanger and i was so hyped back then. i already forgot most of it though so i probably need to replay the first one if i decided to pick it up
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1530160/Digimon_World_Next_Order/ - been planning to pick this up once i got a free time to play it. it was supposed to be last december, but then things happened so... i guess next time.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1668530/The_Legend_of_Nayuta_Boundless_Trails/ - wanted to try this one since i liked trails so much. i heard this one is a standalone title too.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1175830/Legend_of_Mana/ - my friend played it and i was interested in it
https://store.steampowered.com/app/637670/Secret_of_Mana/ - it's basically the same series as the previous one so i just put them all at once (and in case you are wondering, the sixth and seventh are the other "of mana" series, i was just ordering them right next to each other when i sorted it back then).
Comment has been collapsed.
I didnt know that there were so many of them actually until i searched it! I remember playing one of them in the past but i forgot which one.
Comment has been collapsed.
I will look into them. My backlog is so bad, I'm scared to go out and look for new games.

Man, Trails in the Sky SC >< I have had this on my wishlist for more than 10 years. I played and finished the first, but the second one has actually never gone on sale except once, which I missed. It's "sales" just drop down to the same "launch price" discount and I've refused to pick it up out of spite now lol. Same with the 3rd game. Because of that, I also stopped looking at any of their newer titles. Especially when much better games like FF7 Remake have dropped lower in price.

Worth mentioning: Endling - Extinction is Forever (I'm crazy about foxes and this game looks so beautiful!), OXENFREE II: Lost Signals (played the first one on the phone, very nice game), Unravel Two (also to play with my bf)

I heard so many good things about Stray. I got gamepass just to play Clair Obscure though I haven't started it. Good choices. You got style. :)

i think there is no need for explanation, all of them winners/nominated for awards. i had God of War Ragnarök and Marvel's Spider-Man 2
at 4 and 5 before but i managed to trade for them during christmas holidays, i just have some rl issues this time period and i havent been able to play them yet.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh. A Black: Myth Wukong wanter. I have been watching that game for awhile. I am waiting until our new PCs are set up. I want to play it on my hubby's 5090 he is getting. It looks so beautiful. Silent Hill 2 is my hubby's fave game of all time. He has beaten that game 3x already since it's release. He just really has been playing that and nothing else.
Comment has been collapsed.
Hmmm that's a good question. It's been a while since I've last organized my wishlist by priority, right now it's only a collection of games I want. But a quick look makes me think this is my Top 5:
Most of those are light games with a decent sense of exploration and movement. I think that's what draws me to games these days.
Notable mentions include DLCs for some of my favorite games (Outer Wilds, A Hat in Time, Little Nightmares) and sequels to other favorites games (Jedi Survivor, TLOU Part 2, Silksong), and UFO 50 just for existing
Comment has been collapsed.
I never heard of them but you got some of the most unique sounding games I ever heard on a wishlist. I'm intrigued just to look at them now. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I have the no_caps channel to thank for that. She's an incredible Youtuber covering corners of the indie scene that rarely gets the light of the day. Ofc I also love these great AAA titles, but realistically those smaller titles get me way more excited about gaming than the last Assassin's Creed or Far Cry :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Awesome. I will check her out. I am into some indies. It's how I discovered Digested, an indie game I am so looking forward to as well where you try to stay away from a giant snake. I agree with you on smaller games. So many titles get overlooked and never get a chance because they are not big budget. i do think that is shifting though in the last couple years.
Comment has been collapsed.
Digested sounds awesome hahahaha reminds me of another game she featured recently called Morsels. It's the stuff of dreams, although it hasn't been reviewing well hahaah

I liked the demo and Anacondas are my second favorite animal. The original trailer looked so good out in the forest. I hope at release it still looks as good. I played that demo for a long bit. I still haven't got out. Thanks for reminding me of Alien Isolation. It's another game in my library I need to play.
Comment has been collapsed.
I see Alien Isolation mentioned on gaming Youtube almost every other day. I have it on Epic, but realistically, I think I'm too much of a chicken to play it hahaha maybe after I've thinned out my wins and backlog, but I don't think I'll be playing it anytime soon

I am like that with Subnautica. I have played the first hour of that game 50x. I can't even go over by the ship because I seen shadows I don't even wanna know. I'm like this is fun. This ain't scary...hmm did I see something... umm. nah, Im good...exit steam.

Nioh 3: Definitely, since Nioh and Nioh 2 are among my favorite games. I never pre-order, though, and I won't this time either.
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn: I'm a huge sci-fi fan, and this series is one of the best of recent years, so the choice is pretty easy.
Black Myth: Wukong: Right up my alley. I'm just waiting to play through a few other games on my list, which isn't always easy as a 100% completionist.
Supraworld: Again, no question. I can highly recommend the first two installments as well!
The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker 2: I've played many of these games, and the first one was by far the best FMV game I've ever played. At least, the one with the best production quality.
My wishlist includes over 100 games, mostly in no particular order, but these five are clear favorites. Metal Gear Solid Delta is also worth mentioning.
Comment has been collapsed.
I got The Expanse on my wishlist as well. I am a huge Mass Effect fan. It's my all time favorite game. Osiris, to me, looks a lot like that. Did you see the trailer for Exodus? That is a space, very close to Mass Effect, game. It might be something to check out if you like space games.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh yeah. Thanks for the reminder! I heard about Exodus, forgot it already and now it's on my wishlist. Luckily, there have been some good sci-fi RPGs over the years, like Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 or the Mass Effect trilogy, but it's definitely time for something new. ^^
Have a good time!
Comment has been collapsed.
Mass Effect is my heart. I love you Jack. :) KOTOR is probably, behind Dragon Age: Origins, to me as one of my all time favorite stories and KOTOR 1 has probably the best plot twist moment I ever experienced. It shook me the first time.

Oh wow, they made The Expanse game.. I hope it's even near as good as books/series :)
Added Supraland to my wishlist :)

It looks great. I don't know anything about the expanse series. Didn't they have a previous game?

I want to play Elden Ring but I am so horribly bad at video games. I wouldn't get past the first boss. It's the reason I didn't give Bloodborne a chance.

Did it tell you i love Broken sword ? It's the only point'n'click that really makes me laugh.
In reality i would like these ones too but they have both been abandoned by their editors :

People are so excited about Cairn. Do is take a lot of skill?

No don't worry, and there is a demo if you wanna try it.
Usually in this sort of games, you move one hand then the other, one foot then the other, etc. Really accessible !

I still have a lot of backlog to play, so didn’t buy these on winter sale

I heard tons of good stuff about Clover Pit. I am going get around to Expedition 33 on gamepass at some point.

1) Felt that: Boxing - I really liked punch out on nes, snes and wii, and this looks like a better version of that, with extra mini-games, a lot of humour and muppets. What's not to love?
2) Fable (the new one) - never got to play this series, but this latest entry looks like a great starting point as I did always like the concept
3) Shadows over loathing - I loved West of Loathing, and I am usually bored of typical cowboy settings so I think I will like it with a gothic setting a lot more
4) Look outside - the artwork and monster design just looks amazing
5) Hades 2 - the first Hades was just so much fun to play and finally got me to stop dreading rogue-likes and rogue-lites as something I might get too frustrated with
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh yes. Felt that Boxing trailer was so funny. Omg. I died laughing. I like the original Fable a lot. I'm not sure how I feel about the new one yet. I am going look into Look Outside. Thanks for saying that one.

Honorable mentions are games on my list that are not released yet, more than half my wishlist is just games that look interesting that will arrive this year or the next. 2 I am really hopeful for are:
I added REANIMAL to my wishlist, didn't know about the splitscreen co-op, always looking for something to play with my gf, thanks!
I own little nightmares but haven't played it yet, I'll have to add that to my playlist.

I need to add Pragmata to my list. That trailer looked good. I have Little Nightmares: Complete Edition on my gg wishlist. I just seen it came on gamepass, so I might check it out.

This is almost impossible to narrow down and might change next week. So I just sorted my wishlist by ratings and picked the five that stood out the most. In no particular order:

Erisksholm is a game I see comes up a lot. It seems many people are waiting on it for a price drop or other reasons. I am waiting for that big price or sale myself.

Honorable mentions: Forza Horizon 6, Subnautica 2, Cairn, Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000 and TW Medieval 3, PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant, Threads of Time.
I only covered upcoming games. It's too stressfull to think about backlog and yet unbought games. ;)

Pentiment is amazing. I had an honour to translate it to Russian (as a part of a rather awesome team, of course), and it's been one of my favourite projects so far (the other being Alan Wake 2) - not to mention how much I've enjoyed it as a gamer. Considering that you're apparently into story-rich stuff, I just can't recommend it enough.
Comment has been collapsed.
The last 2 sales were absolutely crazy for me, so my wishlist (the released part) is almost empty and mostly consists of EA stuff and games that were NOT at the top during the sale. Anyway, in no particular order:
As for unreleased stuff, these games are way too many and difficult to sort, maybe I'll post that top later.

I heard lots of great stuff about Two Point Museum. Some have said it's the best of the three.

i hope I'm not making too many discussions. If I am, I will slow down. I just love talking about games and hearing others talk about gaming and what things they are doing and looking forward to. I am hoping this is helping in keeping discussions alive and well. :)
As, the title says, what is in your top 5 Wishlist right now? and include any thoughts or honorable mentions if you want. I will include mine below to get started. .
Honorable mentions: Supreme Experiment, Deer & Boy, Resilient, Felt That Boxing. Hello Sunshine, The Omins, Fatekeeper, and Exodus.
These were all unreleased games. If I had to add games to what it already released, top 5 is The Forest, Angst, Fabledom, Black Myth: Wukong, and The Seven Enchantments
Anyways, that my too long, uninteresting post but hey, that's who I am. I hope all of you are doing great, happy, safe, and somewhere awesome with a mouse and keyboard.
