i hope I'm not making too many discussions. If I am, I will slow down. I just love talking about games and hearing others talk about gaming and what things they are doing and looking forward to. I am hoping this is helping in keeping discussions alive and well. :)

As, the title says, what is in your top 5 Wishlist right now? and include any thoughts or honorable mentions if you want. I will include mine below to get started. .

  1. Historicity: Florence--- I played the demo and fell in love. No recent, current news but hopefully out in 2026.
  2. SCP New Management---My wildcard of the wishlist. I don't know much about it but a simulation game where you keep can anomalies and monsters? Yes please. :)
  3. Calyx---This wasn't my #1 demo of 2025 but might be the safest bet for the best game on this wishlist. The demo was awesome and they just released the campaign playtest. I'm pumped to get full release
  4. Scary Cargo---This is not generally my type of game but my hubby wants to play this with me. A horror co-op game. The little dudes when they run crack me something serious.
  5. REANIMAL---This is my most conflicted. This was my #1 rated demo out of the 130 I played in 2025 (Yes, I have a google sheet with all ranked.oof). This demo was amazing. My biggest concern is a $60 price tag for deluxe edition ($40 standard) with no friend pass.I actually pre-ordered it but later cancelled when they didn't confirm or deny it. I will re pre-order if they do confirm.

Honorable mentions: Supreme Experiment, Deer & Boy, Resilient, Felt That Boxing. Hello Sunshine, The Omins, Fatekeeper, and Exodus.

These were all unreleased games. If I had to add games to what it already released, top 5 is The Forest, Angst, Fabledom, Black Myth: Wukong, and The Seven Enchantments

Anyways, that my too long, uninteresting post but hey, that's who I am. I hope all of you are doing great, happy, safe, and somewhere awesome with a mouse and keyboard.

  1. Chicken Invaders 2 + Christmas Edition dlc. Someone else gifted me 3rd part already, but I want to play more parts, lol. Forgot to buy it during winter sale. My childhood game btw.
  2. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. I put lots of hours couple months back into base game, I'm hoping to buy DLC during next sale.
  3. Celeste. I saw that game when it first came out but I always purchased other games when I had money to spend instead.
  4. Manor Lords. Looks interesting and I love medieval games.
  5. Inzoi. As a fan if The Sims, I want to try that.

My WL is not that big though. I cleared the list maybe 2 years ago and I rarely add any games. But lately I started adding more to get notifications about sales.

Some good choices. My hubby bought Inzoi early on. He plays it from time to time. I got Celeste and never played it. Manor Lords I bought early on, and again, never played it. I was so hyped for that game. It's sadly collecting dust in my library. Never heard of first one. My hubby recently bought Cyberpunk but I never played it personally. I want to try it on my new system and his as well.

I deleted my steam wishlist so I guess technically none of them... :p But these are what would probably be there

  1. Hades 2 - The first game was my goty in 2020 and I eventually 100%'d it in just over 100h, so naturally I'm interested in the sequel.
  2. Nioh 3 - Similarly, Nioh 2 was my 2nd favorite game I played in 2022 (only outshined by one of my favorite games of all time), clocking in around 150h and getting into the highest ng+ cycle (They actually change a lot, it's not just a health/damage update). By far my favorite franchise when it comes to soulslikes, as its combat depth surpasses the competition by a large margin. At 80 euros for the base game, the devs can keep this one to themselves though... :)
  3. Ghost of Tsushima - One of the main reasons I wanted a console.
  4. The Shell (2 and 3) - Having read through Innocent Grey's entire Flowers franchise, I was of course pretty hyped to see Kara no Shoujo getting re-released under a different name (The Shell) and actually being completed on steam. I only got around to playing the first part of it so far though.

And I guess that's technically 5 games so I'll just leave it at that :p

Ghosts of Tsushima is on my list. I am worried it might be too repetitive but I heard the world and story is so amazing. I am more excited to play Black Myth: Wukong. A game I forgot to include at the top. I just put games not out yet. If I included released games, BMW would be up there really high along with Fabledom and The Forest. I divide my wishlist by games released and not release and forgot to include to released games.

Ghost of Tsushima is very good and the world looks gorgeous. The random encounters with the enemies on the roads get old pretty fast and there are some filler side quests that aren't much fun, but the rest of the game and story is really worth it.

I was worried it would be like Assassin's Creed too much, no offense. It's like Shadow of Mordor. I loved that game but it got a little repetitive probably because of me because I tried to kill every orc on the map every time going across to do a new mission. I'm not sure it was supposed to be played that way. Is this game got a good amount of variety in combat and gameplay?

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds - 100% the first game in the series twice, need more (Transformed didn't hit the same sadly)
Denshattack! - My kind of crazy.
Duskfade - One of the best looking 3D platformers I've ever seen.
Metaphor: ReFantazio - One of the more interesting looking JRPG's I've seen in years.
Elin - The isolmetric pixel art reminds me a lot of some games I really loved playing as a kid, totally hits me in the nostolgia.

  2. Once Upon A KATAMARI - I looooved the first Katamari game that dropped on Steam, of course i'm itching to play the sequels.
  3. We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie - Refer to point no.2
  4. Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Nordic Horizons - I'm a sucker for ETS2, and especially any new map DLCs that drop, but i can hold off with trying it until it drops to -50% off.
  5. CrossCode - I played the web demo yeeeeears ago, and ever since then it's been hovering somewhere near the top of my WL.

  1. Hunt showdown: I really love the vibes and the atmosphere from the screenshots and videos I've seen

  2. Disillusion ST: Played the first one and I loved the design of the game as a whole, iirc the creator took some inspiration from lsd simulator that's why it looks trippy in most areas. Also has one of my favorite character designs in all games I've played (Mel the muse)

  3. Stonemachia: Not released yet but it's a soulslike where you play as chess pieces

  4. Kenshi: a friend recommended it to me because he thought I'd like it since I enjoyed the difficulty of darkest dungeon(they don't look similar but he described me some stuff of said game and it sounds fun)

  5. Nier Automata: I've only heard good things about it and one time I came across it's soundtrack and it was phenomenal ngl

My wishlist isn't that big (34 games with around 10 of those being unreleased) because I remove games either due to thinking that in the end I might not enjoy it that much or because I played it on a different platform. Can't wait for more comments so I can indirectly get recommendations lol

Kenshi is a really interesting game, but the difficulty really comes down to how you choose to play it (and if you choose to save scum or not). It's more of sandbox game, and it's up to you if you want to play it as a survival/craft, a stealth game, a party-based crpg, a base builder/city-sim, a trade management sim, or some hybrid mash-up of any/all of those (and that's without getting into mods). There's no story or objective, so that's something to keep in mind if that's important to you. I'd still recommend giving it a try even you're not sure, though. I normally HATE games with survival/craft systems, but I ended up really enjoying Kenshi. I've been meaning to get back to it for a while now.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/251290/The_Legend_of_Heroes_Trails_in_the_Sky_SC/ - played the first one and liked it so much. the first one ends in a cliffhanger and i was so hyped back then. i already forgot most of it though so i probably need to replay the first one if i decided to pick it up

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1530160/Digimon_World_Next_Order/ - been planning to pick this up once i got a free time to play it. it was supposed to be last december, but then things happened so... i guess next time.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1668530/The_Legend_of_Nayuta_Boundless_Trails/ - wanted to try this one since i liked trails so much. i heard this one is a standalone title too.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1175830/Legend_of_Mana/ - my friend played it and i was interested in it

https://store.steampowered.com/app/637670/Secret_of_Mana/ - it's basically the same series as the previous one so i just put them all at once (and in case you are wondering, the sixth and seventh are the other "of mana" series, i was just ordering them right next to each other when i sorted it back then).

It's "sales" just drop down to the same "launch price" discount and I've refused to pick it up out of spite now lol. Same with the 3rd game. Because of that, I also stopped looking at any of their newer titles. Especially when much better games like FF7 Remake have dropped lower in price.

  1. Stray - I like cats and my friend recommended me this game, I've been trying to win it here for a very long time already, so atm it's my top wishlist tier 😢
  2. Split Fiction - I played "It takes two" with my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it, so now we want to play this one ^^
  3. A Plague Tale: Requiem - I loved the first game, so I want to know what happens next
  4. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - well, everyone talks about it as something unique, so of course I want to try it 😋 (I'd also put Baldur's Gate 3 here, since I'd be happy to have at least one of them)
  5. Blue Prince (I like puzzles and this game looks like exactly what I need)

Worth mentioning: Endling - Extinction is Forever (I'm crazy about foxes and this game looks so beautiful!), OXENFREE II: Lost Signals (played the first one on the phone, very nice game), Unravel Two (also to play with my bf)

Hmmm that's a good question. It's been a while since I've last organized my wishlist by priority, right now it's only a collection of games I want. But a quick look makes me think this is my Top 5:

  1. Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo
  2. Tiny Terry Turbo Trip
  3. Pseudoregalia
  4. Wheelworld
  5. Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom

Most of those are light games with a decent sense of exploration and movement. I think that's what draws me to games these days.

Notable mentions include DLCs for some of my favorite games (Outer Wilds, A Hat in Time, Little Nightmares) and sequels to other favorites games (Jedi Survivor, TLOU Part 2, Silksong), and UFO 50 just for existing

I have the no_caps channel to thank for that. She's an incredible Youtuber covering corners of the indie scene that rarely gets the light of the day. 1. Nioh 3: Definitely, since Nioh and Nioh 2 are among my favorite games. I never pre-order, though, and I won't this time either.

  2. The Expanse: Osiris Reborn: I'm a huge sci-fi fan, and this series is one of the best of recent years, so the choice is pretty easy.

  3. Black Myth: Wukong: Right up my alley. I'm just waiting to play through a few other games on my list, which isn't always easy as a 100% completionist.

  4. Supraworld: Again, no question. I can highly recommend the first two installments as well!

  5. The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker 2: I've played many of these games, and the first one was by far the best FMV game I've ever played. At least, the one with the best production quality.

My wishlist includes over 100 games, mostly in no particular order, but these five are clear favorites. Metal Gear Solid Delta is also worth mentioning.

1) Felt that: Boxing - I really liked punch out on nes, snes and wii, and this looks like a better version of that, with extra mini-games, a lot of humour and muppets. What's not to love?

2) Fable (the new one) - never got to play this series, but this latest entry looks like a great starting point as I did always like the concept

3) Shadows over loathing - I loved West of Loathing, and I am usually bored of typical cowboy settings so I think I will like it with a gothic setting a lot more

4) Look outside - the artwork and monster design just looks amazing

5) Hades 2 - the first Hades was just so much fun to play and finally got me to stop dreading rogue-likes and rogue-lites as something I might get too frustrated with

  1. Stelar Blade - This game looks like sexy/sci-fi dark souls, now to be fair I've never played dark souls, but I did just finish scarlet nexus and HI-FI rush from my backlog this year and enjoyed both so I want to give this a try.
  2. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 - Didn't seem like my kind of game when it came up in my discovery queue but it's come up in my feed quite a bit and after looking into it more its got me curious, hope it lives up to the hype!
  3. The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy- - New game made by some of the same people who worked on the danganronpa series
  4. ARMORED CORE™ VI FIRES OF RUBICON - Some of my friends said this game was really good, I'm not usually too big into the whole mech thing but this one seems REALLY good.
  5. Life is Strange: True Colors - Played the first one and the sequel back when they came out, I've put this one off but maybe I'll get to it this year!

Honorable mentions are games on my list that are not released yet, more than half my wishlist is just games that look interesting that will arrive this year or the next. 2 I am really hopeful for are:

  1. PRAGMATA - The trailer looked really cool, the little girl android you take care of is iconic. Some people have doubts about the gameplay, there is a demo already but it doesn't reveal much, I'll be keeping a close eye on it.
  2. ACE COMBAT 8: WINGS OF THEVE - The next entry in the ace combat series! I've only played 7 but it was a good time, as long as they don't mess it up with microtransactions or something silly we should have another solid entry.

I added REANIMAL to my wishlist, didn't know about the splitscreen co-op, always looking for something to play with my gf, thanks!
I own little nightmares but haven't played it yet, I'll have to add that to my playlist.

  1. ΟΜORI
  2. Fate/stay night REMASTERED
  3. STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT
  4. OneShot
  5. Pentiment

No particular thoughts on each. I just like well written stories and games that try to offer something different

I heard good things about Pentiment's story.

Pentiment is amazing. I had an honour to translate it to Russian (as a part of a rather awesome team, of course), and it's been one of my favourite projects so far (the other being Alan Wake 2) - not to mention how much I've enjoyed it as a gamer. Considering that you're apparently into story-rich stuff, I just can't recommend it enough.

Oh damn, good to meet you! That's actually impressive. It's quite a wordy game with complex vocabulary, if I understood correctly

The last 2 sales were absolutely crazy for me, so my wishlist (the released part) is almost empty and mostly consists of EA stuff and games that were NOT at the top during the sale. Anyway, in no particular order:

  • Triptych Book I: Blockhead (finally, something new from the guy who created Primordia; still in EA)
  • Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile
  • Death Trash (still in EA, but I have very high hopes for it)
  • Two Point Museum
  • SILENT HILL f

As for unreleased stuff, these games are way too many and difficult to sort, maybe I'll post that top later.

I heard lots of great stuff about Two Point Museum. Some have said it's the best of the three.

  1. V.A Proxy. I have been excited for this game ever since I saw a clip of someone parrying a nuke.
  2. Sunset Devils. I backed this game on Kickstarter after I played the demo.
  3. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Looks cool. I've heard lots of good things about it.
  4. OFF. Not sure if I should play the OG or the remake.
  5. B.C. Piezophile. The only game I'm excited for is B.C. Piezophile. I will play it... I will give it a positive review... I will fight against chemtrails and the Smithsonian...

I love the art style of Sunset Devils. I had never seen that one before. V.A. Proxy looks very unique as well.

Wait, the nuke parry was from this game? Insta-wishlist, lol.
