the site is getting hammered, but i was actually buying stuff from them and finally got through with the freebie.

I've had it in-basket like 4 or 5 times now, only to have the checkout page time-out for the 15 minutes they let you keep something in your basket. Seems like a fairly dumb system. I mean - I understand the server is getting pounded, and I am complaining about potentially getting something for free, but I don't understand a 15 minute limit to having something in a shopping cart online. It seems like insanity.

10 bucks says its a bunch of nooblords making tons of accounts and getting tons of keys just to resell for tf2 items or something stupid like that.

By the way, the code may seem like it's not working but it actually works.

Just put the code in, press "use" button, then hit checkout and you will get your game.

Phew, got it. I gotta say though, that voucher code field HATES touch devices. Seriously, go try it with a tablet or smartphone. It quite literally randomly spews letters into different places in the code. Oh well, I got my free game, so no more griping.

Took nearly two hours, but I got it. Trying to download their client, however...

Finally add it to basket, basket doesn't load. Finally get basket to load, it's been more than 15 minutes so I need to re-add the game. 10/10.

Just started the download. Looks like it's going to take 2 and a half hours, so I'm going to bed (it's 4:12am here.)

Got my copy after 2 hours, phew.

Tips 4u may help if your still getting plagued by timeouts and what not:

Try making bookmarks of the following pages in different tabs or browsers and reload them till you get closer to finishing checkout:

You NO longer need the code as it appears the price of the game was now changed to 0.00 Possibly to make it easier for everyone.(When i Finally was done i realized i never used the code)
