So I activated that E3 turbo code when it was promoted, and it was about to be over, but twitch and my paypal decided to fuck with me, and that I need a renewal.

So with no questions asked, they just took 9$, for "turbo".

I guess Its my fault for not looking into it, I would have seen that it will renewal itself, but fuck me, I hate that, it shouldn't be on default. And this is not the first time this has happened to me, Audiable, fucked me in the same way.(only it was 15$)

Anyway, a small warning to all others who still have time to cancel automatic renewal.

I fucking hate that, that is such a cheap trick.

The worst thing is that I never bought anything on Twitch (subscription or turbo (just that promo code)). And somehow they made my paypal pay for it. Which is strange since I never used paypal on Twitch.

Pretty sure you couldn't use the code without payment method added.

these kind of business practices should be fucking illegal! I know that they clearly state it on their page, but they should offer a check-box to opt out of that on registration. or at least send some kind of email reminders before its about to renew.

So blame a company for the users stupidity ?

You do realize that the only reason they offer these promotions is because they cover the cost from stupid users ?
