Hey guys,

I'm having a really annoying problem with my setup. So far I spotted 2 sites, which, upon opening returns this error: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN or ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED. The sites in question are ncore.cc and gogoanime.tv. I have a modem, which is connected to a TP-Link router. My PC is connected through LAN, and I can connect with my mobile and stuff with Wi-Fi. I visted both sites on both mobile and on PC, and in all cases, I got this error. I checked the pages with Chrome and EDGE, neither of them can load them at all, but here is the strange part: If I use my phone's Mobile connection to load the pages, it loads them successfully. I reseted the router to factory default countless times, also flushed the PC's DNS, released and renewed my IP, and I'm out of ideas. Can you help me?

Try plugging the internet in directly from the modem if you have one, to see if it's your router's problem.

Nope, nothing. Should I call my ISP? Or, does ESET Smart Security conflict with websites like this?

EDIT: Nevermind, it must be a modem issue. I can't open the sites on phone either.

Yeah, you probably need to call your ISP...

Edit: maybe they blocked some sites :S.

I guess something is blocking custom urls, I mean which doesn't end in .net or .com or any country's regional ending.

And now moovie.cc doesn't come in either, neither does twitch

It must be the case. But I found out, that gogoanime has a .com site too, so I'm saved :D

Problem "solved". My ISP is the guilty one. I called my friend, who lives in the same city as I do, and uses the same ISP, and he can't reach any of the sites either. Thanks for your help, though :)

Try switching your DNS server. Sounds like your ISP's DNS server (which I'm assuming you're using) are not returning an IP address for any of those sites. Try Google DNS like Mullinx suggested in the top comment.

Another workaround would be to statically add the IPs to your hosts file. You'd have to manually update it in case of change, so it's only interesting if you want to stay with your ISP DNS.
