Yeah, only free for a 'weekend' from June 18th to June 22nd. Not 'free' to keep. Still good though, not even enough time to download it for me unfortunately :/...

Unlike EGS free games, the devs/ publishers don't get any money from giving away on Steam because Steam doesn't pay them for that.

yes thats why it is not free to keep. EGS version was free to keep just for the reason that platform owner piad for the licenses. Gabe Newell does not need to do that

I recommend you to change the title to Free weekend. I got a few blacklistings for doing the same mistake.

people are really that petty? It's not even that big of a deal to be like "oh it's just free to try, that's alright" and move on with your day.

It's a free to play week-end. Nothing to be excited, especially if you've got it in the Epic GA or bought it. Got my complete edition on GOG last year.

You are not supposed to "end" the game in one weekend. Its like a demo for a game that doesnt have a demo. Download it - try it for two days and if you like it buy it.

And OP - "free" and "free weekend" are completely two different things. Edit your post

They are worth everything to someone who is interested in the game, but not sure if they want to spend the money on it and they can play it for more than 2 hours. I've bought games that I didn't particularly enjoy and couldn't refund because I bought a key from another store rather than directly from Steam. Or, if you do buy from Steam, you can't play more than two hours if you want a refund.

SG has a culture of wanting everything for nothing. :P
