Bioshock 1 or 2 or Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY?

Bioshock 1. It has a great story, atmosphere and gameplay. All of them are worth playing though.

I think Bioshock 1 would fit better. Why? Dunno, I just feel it. O.o

During sale season on Amazon, the site usually bundles the two Bioshocks for ~$5-10, if you want to wait. Otherwise, definitely Bioshock 1.

I haven't played any Batman games yet, but I'm sure the underwater city Rapture would be more interesting than Gotham City.

All of them are great, with a different style and storyline.

I'd say go for both Bioshock 1 AND Arkham Asylum GOTY if its possible because you can get Arkham Asylum GOTY for $5 this weekend, so you can get both for under $30. They're both great games in their own right, and it would be impossible for me to choose between the two.

BATMAN!

I dont like Batman/DC at all but I'm enjoying Batman Arkham Asylum.
I won the game so I played it, I'm surprised that it's enjoyable for a non-fan.

I played Bioshock but for some reason I can't get myself to play it continuously...
maybe because I have lots of gun games already...

If you already played the Half-Life series then go for Batman, if not, pick Bioshock. Both games have a strong story, amazing and yet so different gameplay... Although Batman is a faster paced game and Bioshock is more RPG-ish

If you're a trader like me, you can get all 3 for about $12 right now on SteamTrades. Unless you're already buying from a trader and need help deciding between 3 similarly priced games. :P In that case, I'd recommend Bioshock. Asylum seems good too, I've barely played it but what I did play was quite good, especially if you like stealth games.

Batman of course .

Batman is a 15-30 hour game (if you do every mission), while the BioShock titles are about 8-10 hours each. Personally I'd go with Batman, since you'll get more value out of it. Also I personally have never been able to replay through any of the BioShock titles more than once. They're great games, but there's almost nothing in terms of replay value. Batman on the other hand I've managed to go through three times now in the past couple years.

Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY!!! It's not a boring FPS! Bioshock is not bad, but Batman is better!!

I'd go for Batman. Because I found that to be more enjoyable from a gameplay POV.
All 3 games ooze atmosphere to be worth playing for that alone though.

Also: If you prefer 3rd-person action to FPS, go Batman. Otherwise, pick one of the Bioshocks.

Bioshock 2's story is not as well-written as 1, but it has more varied gameplay from what I've played. (Finished 1, got a decent way into 2 before getting distracted by something else)
