Sounds really close to a group giveaway

It's an interesting idea, but it seems the only way you could really publicize the giveaway is by spamming your friends with a link to it so it wouldn't really be adequate for larger groups. Given that it'd be such a small pool of available people, it'd be easier to just pick a friend with a random number generator and give it to them.

I certainly wouldn't be against the feature, just seems more trouble than it's worth to me.

I don't think SG would implement friend lists to the sync as well, that would give cg even more coding to do. If implemented, cool; if not, fine with me.
