Aussie servers rarely have hackers. I don't think I have reported more than 2-3 people in my last 100 games or so.
More griefers than hackers though.

Considering like Valve made 6 million off selling that game during last sale with -50% discount for the duration of the event, i doubt it.

when it was 75% on Xmas 2014 some bad people bought multiple copies. they were cleaned off by VAC BAN but still.. so it was asked of Valve not to put the game on such discount again. it will be 50% at most I think.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this and I'm not saying this means there will be a sale, but I do think it improves the chances.
CS:GO's three year anniversary is in 4 days (the 21st) so maybe there will be a sale then.
If I'm not mistaken the cheapest it will ever go is 50% off because when they had it at 75% off too many people (ex. a lot of hackers) bought copies and stored them so they can use them later.
