Personally I like methods where I can't come back from, regardless of whether I will feel pain or not. For example I can't swim so perhaps jumping from a cruise ship would be my best bet. Drugs and stuff may be painless but us common people may have no idea what dosage kills and it's hard to get most lethal stuff anywhere, like cyanide? I always figured the best way would be an extreme fall (550+ meters for terminal velocity). You get the thrill of the freefall, just like in skydiving, and then you hit the pavement at 125mph (terminal velocity). No chance to feel the pain at that speed, no slowly bleeding out like with a gun or knife.

You shouldn't. However, the quickest, easiest way is high explosives. The shockwave basically liquefies your tissues and travels faster than nerve impulses, so you don't experience anything. One instant you're there. The next instant, you're not.
