here friend, have a wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism
Racist ideology can become manifest in many aspects of social life. Racism can be present in social actions, practices, or political systems (e.g., apartheid) that support the expression of prejudice or aversion in discriminatory practices. Associated social actions may include nativism, xenophobia, otherness, segregation, hierarchical ranking, supremacism, and related social phenomena.

I think that segregating half of a continent and calling ourselves "THE TRUE 'MERICA" is a pretty clear case of xenophobia, hierarchical ranking and obviously segregation. Since you seem so cultured, do look up segregation, and tell me that what was said isn't that.
Also, Casty didn't give you a synonym, he gave you the definition of racism.
And to be honest, Disgustingsteam's joke wasn't even bad, I even chuckled, but putting that shit under the rug isn't right, even though it was harmless.

He gave me a wikipedia link, that is not the definition of racism. The definition of racism is as follows. You can look around for more definitions in various dictionaries, and they will be worded differently, but share the same concept overall.
rac·ism
ˈrāˌsizəm/
noun
a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human racial groups determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to dominate others or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.
a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.
hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.
Where 2 says "based upon or fostering such a doctrine" it is referencing the description of point 1 being practiced in policy or government.
As for whether or not he gave me a synonym directly is of little importance, and yes I'm aware that they are not all catergorized as synonyms to one another by every source, but the wikipedia and it's description seems heavily based on the construction of them all being synonym's, with the false belief as you posted above that synonym's are the "exact" same thing.
As for Xenophobia, the word itself annoys me because it is another perversion of the English language, a Phobia has nothing to do with hatred, so it's a poor excuse for a word to be accepted into the language. As for his comment being Xenophobic, by the definition of Xenophobia, no it's not, as there is no clear indication of fear or hatred towards people of other nationalities. The most it could be considered as is nationalism. If people want to assume believing your country is superior to another is somehow discriminatory, they're wrong. Some countries can very well be superior, and if people think otherwise, why in the hell do they leave their countries to go to ones like the USA. If every country was equal, everyone should be happy where they are.

Well, I see synonyms as something either exactly the same or so frighteningly similar you can't tell the difference.
Also, 2 indicates the exact segregation I mentioned, at least in my eyes.
Either way, it's arguing over nothing, I'd rather agree to disagree.

Yah, see that's the thing with synonyms is that they are so similar, but there is always a difference. The wikipedia writers just assume because so many of the words are synonyms of discrimination or bigotry though, that they're all intertwined, when in actuality, they are merely all branches of the wider definition of those original words. Example being...
dis·crim·i·na·tion
dəˌskriməˈnāSH(ə)n/
noun
treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit:
Because of how broad the definition is for that, racism is considered a synonym, because it's a form or discrimination (racial) based on a group or category. Xenophobia can also be considered a synonym of discrimination because it's discrimination based on once again, a group or category. However, that group or category doesn't fall into race, but rather foreigners/outsiders. Thus racism and xenophobia are not actually synonyms of one another, but because they are both synonyms of discrimination, people just act as though they are synonyms of one another, when in actuality, they are more specific categorizations of discrimination, to reduce how broad a statement can be interpreted.
As for the point on 2. the "; discrimination" is a method of indicating that the specific description is in relation to the discrimination previously mentioned in the definition. If you look at another source for example, instead of the "; discrimination", they better present the definition as.
2
a : a doctrine or political program based on the assumption of racism and designed to execute its principles
b : a political or social system founded on racism
One way or another, the discrimination has to be based on race for it to be classified as racism. A political program based on the assumption men are superior to women would not be racism, it would be sexism, yet another branch of discrimination.
Edit: Just adding this to state there is a possibility I misunderstood you at some point throughout this, sorry if that's the case, it's late and I'm tired. In addition, reading back on previous posts, I see I worded some stuff poorly, which could have led to further confusion.

I totally agree with you though, racist as an insult is being used too lightly these days, the joke was totally harmless, and Casty kinda overreacted, but still, that was racism in my opinion, but completely harmless and good natured. So I see it as okay.

also https://dispenser.tf but it's only for steam gifts, so it's usually more expensive than trading keys.

Buy from sites that sell steam keys except the steam store. There are lots of sites, bundlestars(global unless stated?), Indiegala, greenmangaming, hrkgame(will have global tag), gamersgate. (I believe Humble bundle still may or may not randomly region lock some games based on your location so to be safe I'd stay away for region-free gifting purposes)
...and well if you really want to G2A(will have region tags) or kinguin which are grey markets. Personally even if I might be tempted to buy something from grey market for myself I wouldn't recommend them for gifting in case there are any problems with the key.

You basically have 2 options:
Option 1) buy from nuuvem.com. Although they are brazilian most of their keys aren't region locked. Just check the game on steamdb before buying. You can pay using brazilian reais.
Option 2) Buy from stores like humblebundle, bundlestars, indiegale and so on, using american dollars. (Don't buy from publishers like 2k, they region-lock your game by your ip, it doesn't matter if you paid using dollars, euros or whatever. I think Deep Silver does that too.)
I heard that some people use VPNs to acess american steam, but I'm not sure. Never tried and never will. I'd stick with option 1 or 2.
Source: I'm brazilian and I had to discover all this stuff to create giveaways here. Boa sorte por aqui :)

They are legit. You can read their terms of use if you want. They are an authorized seller unlike G2A, Kinguin and other grey markets.

That's where you went wrong. You don't ask the people anything. You tell them.

If you mean Steam gifts as in the gifts you can store in your Steam inventory, then no. Technically you could use a VPN, but that goes against a good number of rules. And while Valve doesn't seem to care if people use that to buy games for themselves, they are pretty twitchy when it comes to gift purchases. So very, very, very not recommended.
If you mean gifts as in being able to put up on this site as a giveaway, then most legit key sites sell ROW keys and you can also ask people from cheaper ROW regions (New Zealand, Canada, Norway, Japan) to buy the gift for you, although I suggest paying in PayPal as Steam wallet payments with their fees will not really worth it.
