Did you enjoy Mystery Science Theater?
Just watched an episode today. The best way to watch bad movies.

exactly. the new season has its own flair. Was never expecting it to match up with the episodes of old like the Manos Hand of Fate one, and wasn't disappointed.

I guess a lot people not answering because of the choices not fitting their mindset :P

I'd have voted for 'it's complete and utter bullshit' if it was an option. If people enjoy it then that's cool - but I don't...

I watched the first three episodes. The second made me laugh the hardest so far.

I just watched the 4th episode, and one spoiler: NEIL PATRICK HARRIS

Netflix plays so poorly here, I ended up cancelling it... wish I still had it for this though. Might get back, but the buffering, every few seconds... was so painful.

Is there a word to describe something as so bad it needs a new word created just to emphasize how bad it is?

I love cheesy films and Mystery Science Theatre was pretty awesome hehe. Will for sure have to check out it's revival. Had no idea they were bringing it back.
Not sure how effective it will be though since today cheesy movies are a tad unwatchable unlike the 70,80,90's stuff

well the cheesy films they are using are from the 60s-through 80s

yep. This has been a thing for quite some time, but it has been MIA for about 20 years (cancelled in 1997 and rebooted last week).

the video is yeah... a spoof/parody of what mystery science theater is usually like... (except Stranger Things isn't a 60's - 80's B-list movie :P )

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) is an American television comedy series created by Joel Hodgson and produced by Best Brains, Inc. The show premiered on KTMA in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 24, 1988. It later aired on The Comedy Channel/Comedy Central for another six seasons until its cancellation in 1997. Thereafter, it was picked up by The Sci-Fi Channel and aired for another three seasons until another cancellation in August 1999. Over the series' ten seasons, 197 episodes and a feature film were produced. In 1995, there was also The Mystery Science Theater Hour (a sixty-episode syndication package). In 2015, Hodgson led a crowd funded revival of the series with fourteen episodes in its first season, released on Netflix on April 14, 2017.
It features humorous commentary on the B-movies that are played, a process known as riffing.

Best part about the new series is that they tackled a movie I loved as a kid (Land That Time Forgot). Even better, even though I loved it, I used to imagine how great it would be if it was on MST3K. So it all links together.
But yeah, very happy with the new series. In fact, the only things I haven't liked so far are Gypsy's new voice (she actually sounds like a girl, that's weird), and that scene from the second episode where the bad guy starts trying to strangle a raccoon to death and it does not look simulated. Seriously, that did not need to be left in.

Officially it hit Netflix in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland (funded by Kickstarter and the final 2-3 episodes funded by Netflix). There are plans for it to hit other countries as well. The cast include newcomers such as Wil Wheaton, Jonah Ray, and Felicia Day, as well as appearances by veterans such as Kevin Murphy, Bill Corbett, and Mary Jo Pehl. I suppose some of you might be sad that Hodgson isn't reprising his role as Joel Robinson, but without spoiling anything, it has been still been a great reboot regardless.
Here's a sampler of what sort of things to expect for newcomers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkOMAQAcBKE
edited with the full list of countries.
