Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChartβ„’ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Thanks to luckz for the poll answers!

Pleasure, little Treasure?

I want the music and fun retro games, preordering as always.
Sign me up, preordering in the hope of pristine unbundled Steam games!
Post-launch buy, 'twas good enough for my tastes.
I'm mute, can't say yes or no to this quite yet.
Remute? More like rehash. :<
These might be unbundled but I don't like 'em either way.

Thank you for posting, Sensualshakti! ^^

We've talking about a bundler whose focus is niche retro-gaming, with just a splash of niche modern indie games thrown in for occasional spice. "High profile" should be considered relative to the context- and presumably can be interpreted as "semi-obscure games that nevertheless are from major publishers and which were well-received during their initial release [decades ago]". On the other hand, it could also include "high recognition modern indie games with retro designs", though that's rather more unlikely.

Still, Remutes are really bundles you already know if you're likely to have an interest in or not. Looking through previous Remute bundles may be of benefit to those uncertain on the matter- though extrapolating off Stonekeep works just as well, as it's rather typical Remute fare. Add in how many of the games are previously unbundled, and Remute bundle fans will probably find the bundle fairly agreeable.

So the "how do you keep a moron in suspense" Be Mine trick wasn't enough? They want to string us along on another pre-order at the same time? It's like a master class in trolling.

They want to string us along on another pre-order at the same time?

Remute is an independent curator, his actions and timing in no way meaningfully reflect on any other bundles Groupees is offering. Same goes for any of their independent curator bundles. Similarly, Be Mines are curated by Johnny, though others have contributed to them in the past.

As such, you can think of it like Groupees being a troubled developer, but still publishing things for more reputable companies. Not that I've ever much found Remute's tastes to be agreeable (despite my overall appreciation for older games)- but he's always been straight with and friendly to the user base, so regardless of how precise the niche for his bundles is, he really hasn't done anything to warrant getting caught up in Groupees' overall issues.

That said, his tastes are rather niche, with Stonekeep really being one of the more accessible games he's offered us. If niche retro-gaming isn't your thing, then Remute bundles are rather firmly unlikely to be agreeable to you overall, as his inclusions of other game styles tend to be infrequent and remain niche in different ways.

tl;dr: There is no "they" in the sense you're indicating, as you're talking about two different bundlers who share the same site.

Also, pretty much all bundles on Groupees begin with a preorder period, so it's not a special case. Just a case of one bundle (BM32) that's behind schedule and another (this one) being released on schedule with the ubiquitous nearly-blind-preorder-for-a-lower-price-than-on-release model.

Unless I'm reading Remute's comments wrong, there's only two Interplay games in the bundle and both have been revealed. Not all the games are retro either.

Yep, Remute 19:01 there are not only retro games here. also some new stuff!

Since there doesn't seem to be any Interplay games left i bet the others are all newer.

Was on the fence until the last minute, hopped off on the side of Buy. Mostly because Remute isn't Groupees and handles his bundles much better than the rest of them (is present, answers questions, gives hints, even confirmations during preorder, and no mystery games, and is generally a nice guy. And his music doesn't even match my tastes ...)
