Gelato!!! Me like gelato! :D Am I the only one that when read 'shaped popsicles' thought of some... "more natural flavours"?
How do they let him to have his car in the middle of the street? It looks like taken out of some old movie.
Sorry for your coworker. But it is a bit fun that he got so ripped off than the store owner felt pity.

That looks so tasty, I wish I could handle ice cream again but at least I can look at it.

Day 8 Part 1
Last day of breakfast in Nanning! Got the famous noodles, nian gao, hashbrown, some kind of chestnut cake.
And then it was off to the airport and back to Shanghai at 2PM. My next flight to Tokyo was at 2AM so I had a good amount of time to explore the city.
We walked around the Bund again to get to Nanjing Street. It was so much more crowded on Saturday than the previous Monday.
At Nanjing, we just explored a couple of malls and such. One of the ice cream stores was especially creative, with roses on the gelato and shaped popsicles. We also walked down a side street, where there was a random guy sitting in a retro car. Apparently you can pay him to take pictures in the car :P
Here's also where my coworker got completely ripped off buying toys. He actually did a pretty good job going between stores and haggling, but I think all the stores here were colluding. The store owner ended up giving us both free lint rollers and small RC cars. I got them even though I didn't buy anything :D
