there was a discussion about the separation of a license that comes with two keys. some consider each game to be one license with two means (steam and origin) of accessing its content, and if you allow more than one person to access said license's content (give the keys to different people), then it's piracy.

so by this interpretation you could only give the origin key to the person who redeemed the steam key, or you could let the origin key rot.
