What do you think of Saints Row IV ?

Yeah definitely looks cool.

My friend got it for his birthday, played it all day yesterday. From what I heard from him, it's pretty damn good

Is combat any better than the one in Third? I quit playing because it was so bad. Weapon handling felt off. Enemies could take magazines of ammo in the face, not to mention there was swarms of 'em.
The story looked interesting and funny thought.
So, any chance I might enjoy IV better?

Kinda sucks

I'm spoiled because of the superpower system. I rarely took my laser sword or my dope scifi guns out when I could just freeze people or levitate a freakin truck and smash my enemies with my thought.

As great as it is, it's not the gangster game it's used to be (SR2). I still greatly respect all the good things in SR4 though.

It's amazing. There's no word for how fun and funny it is. There are callbacks to other parts of the series, and the humor is pretty spot on.

Best game every! I've never even played it!

I think it must be a very huge DLC for Saints Row The Third no more.

I overwrote an autosave after my game crashed and lost about 6 hours of playtime+ hundreds of clusters and went back to level 15 when I was about 25+(yes, I'm a fucking idiot). Got back to where I was before and passed it but that made me waste yet another 6 hours of my time. =.=

Other than they incident, it was quite fun. I use the dubstep gun a lot now that I upgraded it with explosive wubs. I'm back to finding clusters and they took a lot of my time to collect them.

Relatively interesting, I keep romancing Kinzie, Shaundi, and Asha. Also romanced CID and it made me crack up the first time I did it. XD

Anyways, there are quite a few quotes and gameplay that references other games such as one mission where it looked like MGS and some movie quotes are interwoven into it(or so it says). All in all, I wouldn't say GOTY, but it's quite entertaining.

kinda like the third one...a bigger, more diversed steelport would've been nice.
from what i've seen from many reviews and gameplay videos, it's pretty much like the third one, except, that you're basically a walking cheatcode.
the game, movie and cultural referrences, which has been pushed beyond sanity once more are pretty cool tho. (we'll bang, ok?)

I think it's expensive and I think I can't afford it right now.

Worth the $30 I paid for it. Not worth the $50 it is listed for on store atm.

Great game. plain and simple, worth every penny.

The Sonic races were a cute touch. The last bit to the stage where "What Is Love" plays as the actual area music was rage-inducing to get right, but otherwise that section has been the best yet. I won't spoil what happens, or where it is in the story, but if you've seen it, you know it. :D

Sliiiightly worried that I have 21% completion in only 5 hours, but I have mostly been doing the easy side things and not rushing through the story.

Looks great, but $70 is too much for any game, and that's without any of the DLC.

Will be looking out for this one when the summer sale comes around in December though :)

I really can't say I am happy that the game started out as DLC for the original. Superpowers make a lot of things obsolete.
