Day 4 Afternoon
I think we ended up skipping lunch because the breakfast was so heavy.
Anyways, after coming back down from Mt. Tsurugi, we drove over to the Okuiya Niju Kazura Bashi Vine Bridge. Pretty cool, but it's been really modernized with metal supports now. Small waterfall under the bridge. I think the coolest part was this hand cart thing - you have to pull yourself across the river.
Next destination: Nagoro Scarecrow Village. Apparently the population dropped from 300+ down to 30ish today, and the residents decided to populate the town with scarecrows instead. Honestly, I don't think it was very interesting.
Final destination ochiai village. This little village built into the side of a mountain - absolutely gorgeous. Definitely something worth going to. I think there are a bunch of cabins near the top of the mountain you can stay in overnight too.
