Do you need something with quadro/firepro? And what is your budget?

That's an extremely low budget for a workstation quality build. Maybe This? They say you can call them to customize something to your needs.

This is the PC Gamer UK rig. They consider it the standard for gaming, very reliable and best value for money. They update one component a month and my issue just arrived this morning. It may be out of your price range, but it is a damn fine computer and since you didn't set a limit, I'll type it up anyway.
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K (£155)
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 (£80)
RAM: Crucial Ballistic Sport (£42)
Case: Cooler Master 80+ (£53)
Hard Drive: Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB (£39)
DVD Drive: LG GH22NP21 (£17)
3D Card: GeForce GTX 560Ti (£153)
Power Supply: Cooler Master 80+ (£70)
Monitor: LG IPS236V (£142)
Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder (£25)
Mouse: Logitech G400 (£30)
Headset: Corsair HS1A (£34)
Total price: £840 (though you can probably drop that down a considerable amount if your monitor etc still work fine)

^ ? Not even close. The 560 ti stomps on a 6790 and is decently priced.

In my opinion this setup is at the moment the best you can get for your money - I built a similar computer for a friend of mine (i5 2500, Gigabyte Z68AP-D3, GTX 560Ti) - it works just fine and hast an incredible amount of power for gaming and computing stuff and as an extra it's rockstable.

Don't settle for clunky headsets when you have the perfect and simple mic. I don't know how your crazy currency works for its cost comparison.

Heres just a list. I reckon GPU's will fall down in price more due to the release of the newer cards comming out soon.
CPU: Intel core i7 2600k (got mine for £185 on ebay)
RAM: 4gb can get it for around £13-£14 on ebay
GPC: XFX ATI Radeon 5770 1024MB GDDR5 £69.98 be able to play bf3 on high graphics
If your old computer still has working parts you could reuse it should as PSU, RAM, Hard drive, etc.

Please be careful with these generic Hard Drives, even though they may be cheap. Sometimes you can get drives that have extraodinatry low quality, like ExcelStor. In addition to that, when he uses Autodesk Maya, he may need a good amount of IO-operations. Most of the bigger HDDs are considered "data graves" because most of them are slow at a slower price, so they would be quite a bottle neck while working with Maya.

If your budget's only £300, then you won't be able to get any decent PC at all. Sorry mate.
If I were you, I would research what the problem is with your old pc (if you can) and see if you can buy some replacement gear for what might have died on you. It might be cheaper and within your budget to do that instead.

Do you feel comfortable building your on system?
Or are you willing to buy the hardware and have a local store assemble it?
At your budget that may be preferable, so you can scavenge some of the working hardware form your existing computer to save money.

If you want to build your own computer, you can use tinyurl.com/falconguide as a building guide. However, it doesn't include monitors or an OS ( which means if you don't have a copy of Windows 7, you would have to use your old hard drive or acquire it.).

Do you have any idea what died exactly? A "dead PC" could be from a dead PSU (cheap and easy to replace), dead CPU, dead motherboard. Even if it's a component you can't easily replace, or don't want to, you'd still have a lot of spares, and be able to reuse your case, your PSU if it's okay, your hard disk, DVD drive, graphics card, whatever. Assuming your current PC does its job adequately for gaming and graphical software, you won't really have to replace that much.
Replacing just some of the components is the most cost effective way to get a new PC. I once changed just the board and CPU (the board is what died) and got a big boost to performance for relatively little money.

I'm looking for a gaming PC, but not so extreme. But also could handle graphical software's like Autodesk Maya 2012.
I was hoping if anyone know a good cheap website for gaming pc/workstations as I'm on a low budget. I'm from the UK by the way.
Thanks.
