Odd, steamgifts wont detect that you own the base game even after syncing.

SG should still recognize it fine for things like [Does the user own this base game?] checks, even if it doesn't show in your account page, so it's mostly a superficial distinction as far as SG is concerned.

It works for other f2p games where dlc giveaways will block you saying missing base game.

This requires less special actions than most things that are accepted on SG, though, so unless we've moved to excluding gleam.io outright, it doesn't seem to actually be a problem.

Just a heads up to everyone that you only need to click [ie, visit] either of the last two options, so no actual promotional action is required, despite being on gleam.io. It takes all of two clicks (and no need to login) to acquire a key.
