ATTENTION! NEW HACK THREAT TO STEAM!

So it is! a new type of hack is threatening the community of steam, and I have the evidence of their existence, known as "steamguard.exe".

this virus or hack is intruduce on your computer and steals your account, if you steal the account! I'm not sure as it does but manages to change your password, empty your inventory and delete your games, I almost fuy victim of this hack, when attacked by a user who allegedly wanted an exchange with me, the scammer sent me "supesta link a steam account, that was from a friend "and enter me realizes that my steam profile is not signed, of course when starting page section threw me the following message:

to improve safety requerie steam to download the application called steamguard.exe, install it, and try to start again in this product section.

Sure is! fuy not dumb enough to install the program (and if you download and it automatically downloaded, but as soon as you delete downloaded).

The call Steam Guard is a service of steam that protects us from the use of tricks (or Hack), in multiplayer games, and clarify:

NOT A PROGRAM TO PROTECT our private STEAM ACCOUNTS!
It is ONLY A SYSTEM THAT POUND OF HACKERS IN MULTIPLAYER GAMES, NOT REQUIRED TO BE DOWNLOADED!

so if you enter a wed site, which paresca to steam, posted by a "friend" or a person of unknown origin, in order to add this to your friend and ask them to download the "steamguard.exe" eliminate that user to your friends list, and report it immediately for service of steam! to delete all steam service, this is not a game.

I WILL TEST THEM AND HOW TO TAKE A PHOTO MYSELF
ONE OF THESE hackes, Scammers, TRYING TO STEAL MY STEAM ACCOUNT!

AND ALSO A POST OF A COMMUNITY MEMBER STEAM GIFT THAT WAS VICTIM OF THIS FRAUD "English only"

http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/0X3cA/ive-lost-everything

I just want to do this to warn the community, and I worry that more people will be stolen, I hope we can end this and steam make a safer place with sexy women! Drugs! and free candy!

Greetings and out and be careful!

ATENCIÓN! NUEVO HACK, AMENAZA A STEAM!!!

https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=a89b7ca6b93f57fc&id=A89B7CA6B93F57FC%21303&sff=1&v=3

Y ADEMAS UN POST, DE UN MIEMBRO DE LA COMUNIDAD STEAM GIFT, QUE FUE VICTIMA DE ESTE FRAUDE "solo en ingles"

http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/0X3cA/ive-lost-everything

Yesterday I tried to loggin into steamtrade.com then something pop-up and and asked me to download something called steamguard.exe...after open it...I've lost my account...email address n password have been changed. Fixed the "Spanish" for you :P

My opinion: never download a strange program from a insecure pop up window.... stating the obvious here.... :P

Just because someone makes a mistake that doesn't make them an idiot.

If mistakes are so stupid they shouldn't be done in the first place, I beg to differ.

Thanks for the warning but the scam seems pretty obvious to me, even without being warned this would smell pretty fishy to me.

Well who the fuck will download something like "steamguard.exe". Only a fag who thinks he'll get free games and shit will click on the link and actually open the so called "steamguard.exe". It's all your fault so stop complaining. If your careful enough, nothing of this would happend.

I thought that changing passwords prevented trading for like a week or something? How can they steal everything?

This is coming from someone who doesn't know how the system works so correct me if I'm wrong. I would like to know.

There's nothing new about phishing links, and you posted them in your screenshot. I swear if this keeps happening I will start suspending people who repost them. It only helps the phishers and the only legitimate reason to post them is if you're working with them. Closed.
