Day 4
View from the hotel room in Nanning. This was definitely a much smaller city than Shanghai, but still plenty of tall buildings everywhere, and a huge amount of construction going on.

Buffet breakfast in the hotel. I do like my dragonfruit!

I can't show any pictures of the Foxconn factory due to confidentiality agreements and such unfortunately.

The Foxconn people brought us out for lunch at this place. Definitely bought us way too much food. This was only like 2/3 of the total amount of food we got - the dishes just kept coming and coming!

We were forced to leave the factory at 5:30, so we headed back, wrote our daily reports, and were off to the buffet dinner at the hotel. Notice all the food? >.<
Dinner had tons of seafood, but I didn't end up getting too much of it.

That looks like a nice and generous plate of food from here. ;-)

If I had been left alone with all of that seafood I would guarantee that it would be gone in short time.

I was wondering what you were eating for breakfast. I have never heard of dragon fruit, but I wan't to try it now. It looks really cool with the skin on.

Taste is just so so... like a less tasty melon/kiwi hybrid...

Yeah I was excited to try it too, but the taste is so blend.. It's really not worth it, nothing special and did cost a lot.

I've never had any good dragonfruit outside of Asia - I think for the West, they probably freeze the fruit or something before shipping it over.

The taste is quite mild, but I really like it in combination with the texture of all the little seeds inside.

Damn, I live in China, more than 4 years now, and I still in no way can eat Chinese breakfast... I need my croissant and my cappuccino for breakfast!!!
