I've gotten around to thinking "you know, I should stop mocking MySQL, it's almost like a real RDBMS now, with foreign keys and everything". This makes me feel less bad about my prejudices, though. An RDBMS that leaves you with a corrupt database is like a bicycle without a saddle -- you can use it if you really want, but you'll have to have a high pain threshold.
