I had no idea there was a Duck Tales 2 and Chip N Dale 2 for NES.

Also 80% off Dark Void Kreygasm (yes I know that's its usual sale price)

Duck Tales 2 and Chip N Dale 2 are good games, too. Maybe not classics like the originals but still very playable.

I actually like Chip N Dale 2 more than first one.
I have never heard about second part of Duck Tales before though.

Greedy CAPCOM

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes because clearly, you deserve 90% off all games

I get wanting a better discount but to call someone greedy just because they don't put it super cheap for you.I did glance over the sale though and actually compare to usual discounts this is a nice weekend deal.

You know, because it's either 90% or 50%.
75%?? What, are you insane? Those numbers don't exist! 80%? Nooooo, that's just a myth! 65%? No... it's either 40%, 50%, 60% or 90%.
Moderation isn't real, kids.

That made me LOL and got me thinking you know a lot of games go on sale for 66% I never got the point of that though not as bad as the ones that put up say 31%.I think people should just be grateful of such cheap prices I remember back in the day hardly any games went on sale and usually the only deals you could get was on well the crap nobody bought anyhow or the rare gem that landed in a discount bin.

Then once you bought it was not worth much since there was not a good way to sell your games back then no craigslist or eBay you just usually traded them with others or hope you found a decent price at a rummage sale.

Too bad Amazon US isn't offering Dead Rising at all (otherwise they would probably counter the discount), since it's not available at the German Steam storefront.

In case someone else is interested, esp. for giveaways or due to boycotting Steam: Gamesplanet UK countered it (new historical low, 3 hours left, region lock: no Japan).

The Untold Stories DLC was 75% off at GMG at least once before but that level of discount on it has been rare, so yeah this is a good time to pick it up.

Today it's cheaper on Gamesplanet. It's even the lowest price ever. On Steam it's 60% off at 11.99€/$. On Gamesplanet it's 72% off at 8.49€ (FR and DE), 69% off at 7.49£ (UK).
I beat it on PS3, but I'm hesitating, I definitely could play it again.

Have you seen usf4 getting discounts after sf5 exists?

edit: turns out I was wrong. But this is the first time it's been on sale since 5 was published so my point sort of still stands.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I was genuinely curious; I haven't tracked the prices of USF4. Also, if this is the first sale since 5 came out, wouldn't that mean it will consistently be on sale now that 5 is out? <shrug>

I'll take this as conjecture then, I shall think of you if it never goes back on sale or appears in a Humble Bundle ;)

you're wrong again, it has been on sale a few times since SFV was out, actually... I have a few dlcs for SF4 on wishlist and I get e-mails about those being on sale everytime it gets on sale.

I love how the banner they use includes a still frame from the the Mega Man Legacy Collection trailer, but then doesn't offer it up the game up. Feels like they're saying, "Hey look! It's Mega Man!" and then you go to the deals page there and they're all "Psyche! You thought we were really gonna discount this? Pshaw." Feel like I've been misled.

Well, 20XX has a 20% launch discount. Much better fan service for Mega Man fans than Capcom, and that's a fact!

Well, if you're into Mega Man X series, it's 50% chance of liking it already, unless the roguelite proposition (procedural levels + permadeath) turns you off. The gameplay is very fluid and tight, balance is right between frustration and challenging, and it has coop on top of that!

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Oh, roguelite? Sounds even more interesting now.

Yes! You start a run on a random boss stage out of the 8 boss stages. The level is randomly generated, as item and monster placement. After you defeat the boss, you can choose to get his weapon, "money" or a random power up, and then proceed to the next boss. You'll be presented with 3 random bosses, and you have to choose one of them as next boss. So you have some choices, but they're limited and randomized to some extent. Each subsequent stage and boss on a run gets harder. It's amazing. I already had the ritual to replay Mega Mans once in a while, but with 20XX, you can keep replaying it until you break your hands.

Not to mention is has daily and weekly challenges for those who like scoreboard competition, 3 difficulty levels, with the harder one having several "modifiers" you can activate, so the sky is the limit in terms of challenge.

It also features permanent progression to some extent: the standard one is unlocking items that will show in next runs (much like crypt of the necrodancer), or even getting some smaller, limited permanent bonuses for future runs (that can be deactivated if you wish, and can't be used on harder difficulty).

Aye, I've shamefully never completed a main series Mega Man game back when I had the consoles they were on, what with being a kid and not having that great a relationship with password systems at the time, and I have an iffy relationship with emulation. But hey, what you fail at as a child proves opportunity for improvement as an adult.

Dark Souls, Isaac and Rogue Legacy taught me to enjoy the 'learning experience'.
